Garrulous Glaahk Bomber
North of fort emerald is a drake lair. I freed the drake but when i went to the job board at fort emerald it said i had to kill the drake. Is there a way to complete the job? P.S: I hate leaving a job board with a job on it. Kyshakk Koan Darkdread
I think I was there 2 days ago, but I don't remember the "free" the drake part. I also killed it, actually she was hostile. In the words of Katsumoto in The Last Samurai: "It was a good death."
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
When you confront the drake there are two main options. Killing her is what Fort Emerald wants and usually happens if you've killed her brood of young dragons. The other is to let her leave in return for her hoard. I don't think that fulfills the job board quest.

Seasoned Roamer Reve
Yeah at least a smaller reward for driving the drake off would have been better.

I believe that reward would be the drake's hoard, paired with not having to fight the drake.
Articulate Vlish Dunbar42
But it should still let you finish the quest. So you return to the guy and tell him you got the drake to leave. He then maybe tells you off for letting it go instead of killing it, then gives you a reduced or no reward. That way you can still get the qeust removed from your quest list. Chittering Clawbug Zelda
Nooo...because when you ask the drake if it will stop killing humans..it says no. So you HAVE to kill it. Just letting it go merely postpones the problem. If you choose this then you are not fulfilling the quest, which is about removing the threat of the drake. Am I making sense? I'm rather tired. Sorry for bad grammar and such. ---Zelda
