Everyone in Silvar HATES me!

Recommended Posts

I seem to have pissed off EVERYONE in Silvar!

And I have NO idea of this occurred...

I went into the city with no problems and started poking around. I found a room just to the west of the main entry that had a tunnel. I went down the tunnel, whupped some ass down there, came back up and WHAM! Everyone was in ATTACK MODE!

I can't even get near the city without some farmer or guard coming at me. I don't mind beating the crap out of some guard, but I feel bad beating up on a farmer.

Keep in mind I DIDN'T steal anything, I just beat up the bandits in the basement. Who, BTW attacked ME first.

So is there any way to make nice to the good people of Silvar? Or should I just lay waste to the entire city, claiming it as mine?

"There are some friendlies down there. Did you grease them, too?"

I'm not sure. I think it was just guards and townspeople. I just fought my way out of the city.

I went back to the town a little bit later on, but they were still angry. So I didn't go inside.

I'll try the "please like me code". Hopefully, I'll do it properly.

Thanks for the quick replies

"I meant orc as in your race. Umgook is an orc name, you know."

--------------

I changed the "C" in Orc to a "k" because the "ED" made the "C" soft (thank you stoopid rules of grammar...)

It was a futile attempt at humor on my part.

Anyway, I do realize that Umgook is an Orc name. And "The Destroyer" part makes it fierce.

Even though I am neither Orc nor fierce by nature, I figured that if I adopt a fierce, Orc name, my enemies will cower at the sheer THOUGHT of facing me. Or rather the thought of facing AN Omgook The Destroyer.

Thus allowing me to avoid any type of confrontation AND it works wonders with the chicks...

It's rare that I get to be pedantic twice in a thread, but here's my second opportunity. There is, in fact, a spelling rule that covers this. It states that, in a situation like this, the C should be changed to a CK before the -ED suffix is added.

This can actually be seen in the word "magic," when someone says, "I magicked up a way out."
