Garrulous Glaahk D Pliss
I've read all these topics about what to do, and I'm confused. Like making almaria friendly, and how the heck do you guys kill the shade? It's impossible isn't it? Do you have to get a shade slayer or something? thanks What about almaria? Magnificent Ornk Ephesos
No, you can kill the shade. You just have to play further into the game... And you need the Shade Disrupting Scepter/Control Rod, which you have to get from SERIOUS SPOILER 's lair.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
Almaria will become friendly as the game proceeds. Head to the Castle and do a couple missions there.
Garrulous Glaahk D Pliss
even if the shade isn't dead? edit: where's the shade scepter thing?
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
No, it's a bug. The scepter will be recovered from the lair of the creator of the Shades.
Garrulous Glaahk D Pliss
are you required to find the "friendly vahnatai" trap with Rehntar Ihrno and tons of crysatal pylons?
Ineffable Wingbolt Arch-Mage Solberg
Yes. You are sent there by Houghton to investigate as a quest.
Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
The crystal pylons are fun. Lots of easy experience and money for selling the crystals that result of destroying them. It just takes some time and patience.
Garrulous Glaahk D Pliss
Oh I died on the first room. I must have a bad party.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
Well, or bad tactics. This area is decently tough. I'd suggest using haste and any other buffs prior to the start of combat.
