Ineffable Wingbolt Upon Mars.
Did spider web software adopt like symbol friendly spiders and why did they? (humans are soo cute!!!!) that is probably the first reson.
Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
Well, it is called Spiderweb Software. Spiders make sense. More specifically, all the arachnophilia comes from Jeff's pet tarantula named Spider. He's cute . —Alorael, who doesn't know if he is still cute or formerly cute. Tarantulas can apparently live for quite a while, though, and he (or she) may have become the proud parent of a thousand little baby Spiders. Hatchling Cockatrice Randomizer
Also Giant Intelligent Friendly Talking Spiders (GIFTs) have appeared in Jeff's old Dungeon and Dragons campaigns according to previous threads so they have appeared in all the Exile and Avernum games. Geneforge has been spared for now.
Hatchling Cockatrice Mea Tulpa
They also appeared in Nethergate, but unless I blocked out the memory, they weren't in Avernum 4.
Easygoing Eyebeast *i
They were indeed in A4, in a cave east of Bargha in the Land of Giants.
Ineffable Wingbolt Upon Mars.
so is friendly happy spiders a joke as happy friendly doberman sizes roaches are? (how cute) said the spider.
Magnificent Ornk Ephesos
The GIFTRs were a nice touch, in my opinion. They really broke up the monotony of the roach plague... you know, put a happy, chirpy face on the whole thing. Personally, I really didn't like how the GIFTSs looked in A4. They just weren't brown and fuzzy enough anymore...

Hatchling Cockatrice Alorael at Large
I can get it to load, but it's just a fairly small area of transparency with no actual image. —Alorael, who thinks either National Geographic dislikes links or someone has a commendable sense of humor.
