Do any of you know what the best way to reach Luz Piazuelo is? Or, are you Luz Piazuelo and this qualifies as reaching you? I sent an email to the address on The Blazing Blade (backup hosted at TrueSite4Blades) but given that it's an old site I'm not sure whether it's an unused address. Celtic Minstrel and I are looking to package some of her graphics with Blades of Exile, and to cover our behinds we're looking for her blessing, since they were released for use in custom graphics sheets with custom scenarios, before the open-sourcing, and for all we know she has a burning hatred for all things GNU. I think it would be fine but I want to be sure. I did manage to find Andrew Hunter easily enough, to email him about the E1-3 graphics that Jeff and Mariann can't remember whether they own the rights to. I'm almost certain they do own the rights, because their site has always said "lump sum, full rights, no royalty" but again, just being safe. It's possible Mr. Hunter knows who owns the rights, and if he does he may grant us the right to use the old ones, and if not, we can ask Spidweb again and say "Mr. Hunter says..." and hope they answer. (I can't link to his website; his current artistic projects are rather "inappropriate", which surprised me, but at least I found him.)
For some reason I cannot play Avernum 5 on Steam. It will tell me that it can only play in 16 bit at 1024 X 768 and to change it by right clicking on the desktop and selecting 'properties' which does not appear on my system (And the equivalent of it won't let me go to 16 bit manually). Then it says that it is recommended that I change it through the game. Which I can't actually do. The thing is both Avernum 4 and 6 work fine on Steam. Avernum 4 is set to auto change the resolution and Avernum 6 shows the change resolution menu before opening. Avernum 5 is doing neither. I will try reinstalling and see if there is any joy. If not is this happening to anyone else? Edit: No joy have a picture of message Edit 2: By changing compatibility mode on windows 7 I can enter the game but the screen is ridiculously small and the change resolution options are no help. Edit 3: Hmm I can enter the game now without the compatibility mode but the change resolution options are broken and with each exit it reverts to change on start up. Edit 4: Ok selecting 640 X 800 option make the game play nicely in full screen mode but the fact is the resolution options are not really working.
(TBF is down, so posting here) (link to BMP) I was bored, so I made MLP:FiM graphics for BoE. There's six character slots, and six ponies in the Mane 6. Coincidence? I think not. So yeah, Rainbow Dash and Applejack as fighters, Twilight Sparkle and Rarity as mages, Fluttershy as a priest, and Pinky as...uh...something... Enjoy!
