Figured it out - if anyone else is doing this, you need to change the field ab_name in avobjsmisc.txt.

I'm modding a few things about A:EFTP as a joke for my wife, who really enjoys the game. Does anyone have any idea how to change the names of Priest/Mage spells? I've tried both textskills and textspelldescs scripts; neither seem to work. Thank you for any help!
