1. Shoot! I totally forgot! I hope not! Anyways, yeah, I'll try out Khalida next. I enjoy the side quests quite a bit. I finally feel like I'm actually a bit of a tough badass when I kill the wretches
2. Okay, so 2 questions... Is there no way to get out of the interrogation area once you start that quest line? Are any of the hand's loyal to Avadon at all...I wish there was at least one other hand who wanted to be out there killing bad guys with me and didn't complain about the evils of Avadon. Jeff had to have put in a General Alwan...right? I want my Alwaaaaaaaan! Also, Sulla can suck it! If you let him live does he come back to haunt you later?
3. Alright, maybe I'll only post the first video in the most recent set of uploads from now on...you can always get to the rest through the playlist. The Pylon really did take forever. The Black Fortress is just like I remember it. Redbeard is the best character ever. Women want him. Men want to be him. Children fear him! Heck, everyone fears him! And for good reason...I spent two hours taking him out on normal difficulty if I remember correctly. I already like the cast of hands way better this time around. The shaman isn't in a stupid garden with some wolves. The tinkermage is slightly annoying. I do wonder if having him would actually open up more venues to power and wealth like he says. Probably not. That would be cool though. I'm having way too much fun with the accents, though I probably can't keep most of them straight and characters will have slightly changing accents over time. Except for the blacksmith, he's obviously Russian.
4. hat pylon took forever to get to!
5. Alright, so I gamed out some more today, I have to say it's pretty fun so far. I'm finding Hard difficulty to be very enjoyable...I can't imagine how easy normal difficulty and casual must be.
6. My let's play of Avadon 2 is up and started. I'm a bit like a kid on Christmas morning with this. I'm playing an alcoholic Tinkermage and I've already fallen for Silke. I'm going with Hard difficulty. Check it out, keep watching, comment and all. And is it just me or is that last scene with Silke highly reminiscent of Baldur's Gate?
7. Raymond E Feist's Betrayal at Krondor book. Not the incredible amazing bestest RPG game ever, but the book. I have no doubt that the rest of his novels are as brilliant. The combat was really what stood out for me in the novel. It was so well written, it was like watching a movie.
8. Thanks, mate! So is it just me or is the game laced with references to other games? Like the one creation called Torchlight (Torchlight)...and then a guy named Serif (Deus Ex: Human Revolution)? I went on a bit of a blitz today, I'm up to video 14 now. I feel pretty darn sad after dealing with Shaila.
9. Hey! I'm super excited, I got Geneforge 4 to finally record properly by using a forced windowed mode and bandicam! So anyways, I've played every other Geneforge game except for 4, so I'm playing through it right now! I'm off to a decent start with Aurelia the Shocktrooper. I've always been a Shaper Loyalist, but this time I want to try playing a rebel. It's going to be tough. Also any tips on how to make a powerful shocktrooper are appreciated since it seems an odd combo. The first couple videos are the tutorial bits so feel free to jump ahead. Also, the sound balance is a bit off in my first video, but that's fixed in the following vids.
10. This is the second time I've given the game a try, and I really want to like it...I really do, but I keep having problems with battles once enemy spell casters start using effect spells... For example...I'm at the Nephilim Fort...every time the enemy mage casts the poison cloud spell my party gets wiped...not only does the spell do a bunch of damage taking out half of everyone's health, but the next round everyone dies from the poison. Everything else I can deal with at that point, but spellcasters destroy me. So what am I supposed to do to deal with that? Even if I had mass cure or mass heal, it wouldn't really help since everyone would still remain at half health still be posioned...and things are starting to hit hard. Anyways, last time I played a bit furthur, and I remember getting constantly beaten by spellcasters...so what gives? And I'm also playing on hard, but that's the only thing that really gives me a hard time so there must be some battle tactic or way around this out there? Advice is appreciated
