No worries, I couldn't fix it. I just started off at another save. Set me back an hour but the game is so great it is worth it.

There is a weird glitch going on. The game crashed. I reopened the game and finished the battle I was in the middle of. Now any time I try to open any door or go up any ladder or down stairs it instead opens my inventory. I can't get out of this area which is just a small cave. I'm stuck.
