That's weird. That usually only happens to me when I'm set at 16-bit color. Unfortunately, my new computer can only show 16-bit and 32-bit coloring.

Perhaphs the ability to get that far into Nethergate as Romans in the error, not the inability to talk to certain people.

To find out what the spells are, you can look in the help file. To find out where to get them, well, you've got to look in a walkthrough.

Who's Dingy?

It shouldn't be created, because Romans valued physical combat skills a lot. Giving them druidism would be just wrong.

How did you make your text red?

I too, enjoyed playing the Celts more than playing the Romans.
