Tenderfoot Thahd (2/17)

  1. I only tried reloading which didn't change the numbers. I didn't try the other things.
  2. But I never see the razor flinger do area damage at all. I'm assuming that it isn't supposed to, then, and it is only supposed to fire a single razor at a single enemy?
  3. There does appear to be something odd going on with that stat. I checked out my character with a +end breast plate to be sure and found the same thing as you. Equiping or unequiping the item did not seem to change the total hp. But then I decided to equip a +End shield and the hp went up a few points. When I removed both items the hp remained at the newer, higher level.
  4. The description of the first says the the regular bolt flinger can occasionally spray razors at level three and you can summon a full fledged razor flinger at level 6. But every single razor flinger I make only shoots bolts. It doesn't even occasionally shoot razors like the regular bolt flinger does. This seems to me to not be working as intended. Is this a bug?
  5. I was actually hoping you would let Sulla live so I could find out, haha! Also, I'm pretty sure Khalida is pretty supportive of Avadon. The others do seem to not be so supportive though. I wonder if you taking stuff from your friends rooms will come back to haunt you. In Avadon 1 they didn't like it too much.
  6. If you drink it it says that some of your spells and abilities will be more powerful while in the Corruption but it's more malevolent effects remain unknown. I didn't drink it for my actual game so I don't know what happens as far as the story line goes.
  7. You are right, sorry about the incorrect post then.
  8. After agreeing to help Alcander you are given two options in the dialogue box: "That's all for now" and "I have another question". If you choose the "I have another question" option, you will be stuck in conversation with no way to exit. There is no green button or dialogue option to end the conversation as usual. As far as I know the only way out is to force the program to terminate.
  9. In regards to auto healing: I don't mind the auto revive; whenever a character died in Baldur's gate I just reloaded. However, I don't see how auto healing improves on the game in any way. I would prefer if there were more opportunities to rest and heal in the wild, coupled with natural abilities that aid in healing the group. Using devices such as alchemy for making potions, making potions more available in general, providing abilities such as first aid to help with self/group healing after fights, food, magic, and/or occasional resting locations in the wild would improve the game in multiple ways over the simple, free auto heal.
  10. I just started a fight and hasted my pylon. None of my characters were hasted the entire time the pylon was out. I currently have 3 points in it, 2 physical points and one from specialization. So it seems the issue exists with me as well
  11. Apparently a few things really are safe to eat/drink in that area. I found a host of spider eggs, bits of meat, and mushrooms that could be safely eaten
  12. The in-game descriptions don't give quite as much info as I would like so I was wondering if anyone around here might know the answers to a few of my questions: 1. What is the difference between Blade training and Blade craft? Aside from the lvl 3 abilities onward they appear identical, though it is hard to say since only one gives statistics. 2. The description for dexterity says that my special attacks (like grenades) get stronger. So do my turrets get stronger too or just abilities like Bladelash, Charged shot, Yank/net shot, and grenades?
  13. I'm on the third book right now and enjoying it. I hated the first season of the HBO series. I almost didn't bother with the second season I hated it so much. Good thing I did in the end since the second season is almost better than the second book. I haven't played any of the games, but if you have the game "Crusader Kings 2" the mod for game of thrones is AMAZING. It is fantastically accurate and detailed, and no other game could possibly have all of the same elements of politics and intrigue and the vying for power that is in game of thrones as you can find in Crusader kings 2.
  14. Just wanted to add my voice to this thread instead of starting a new one. I loved the game! I enjoyed the story and the way some characters tried to turn you against Red Beard ( I stayed loyal in the end). I really look forward to the Avadon 2. Hope it comes out soon! Now I'm off to play the Avernum series while I wait.
