I dont want to accuse Spiderweb of that.  They have always been the best. There are damn few

posts on line abt the gem boards. This must mean they are so easy or I am so stupid  ( IQ at 13 yrs 150 ).

Hopefully  the next game wont have them or will have a SKIP option even if it costs $$ or killing

bad guys.

BTW Pharaoh has been updated for new Windows....

Thank you for the help gents.  I got through a few easy ones & I am cleaning up old quests now.

I think I have been everywhere so when that is done I will do the last challenges.

ONE more question.  I collected a lot of things that said to see them use the "character info window.". Where is that ?? 

I have poked at everything & cant find it.

Can the game be finished without doing any gem boards ??

Something must be wrong with me. I have read every thing here but there is very little on it considering I find them

imposable. And I am very good at logic puzzles !  I was hoping some one put them on Utube but no joy there either

after a few wasted hours. There is so much there odds are I wouldnt find it anyhows.

SO if someone can give me a hint on the one in Erudico ruins I would be happy as a clam.

The dude in the castle ( upstairs)  had 3 new quests IIRC. I think they were all

Hope someone is still following this forum.

Cant get to the Mertis etc area of game.

Cant get boat without permition from castle.

Cant get past the Bargha gates that are after the traps.

Honeycomb cant get in. I can go past the Honeycomb warning sign into the first area.

BOTH exits go into a loop & come back. Is there a switch or something else stopping me ?

I have played it before years ago & didnt get stuck.

Can NOT get into it, never sends the code. All help runs into dead ends or loops.

Steam has NO place to contact them in this event. This is ongoing, a few yrs ago

I am working the Catacombs. The scourge zombies backed me into the SW dead

end & I cant get out. Can they be killed ?? Add to that when they are off the screen you cant see or shoot them but they can get me. Noticed in other places in the game too. Sry if stupid questions but I am

almost 70 & probably should be playing golf...

Update

Steam only has Queens Wish listed. Not opened on my computer, no place i can find to enter key.

I have already played it to the end anyhows. No big deal, I want my Avernums back not QW.

Humble Bundle has Avernum 2, 3, #3 hint book & Avadon. Of course they are still  open in my computer.

I need to restore Avernum 1, 4, 5, & 6.  I did request keys 6 or 7 days ago &  have ZERO response.

I just dont get it.  Did I piss someone off or maybe passed my allowed keys ?  PLEASE just

let me know. I have been a good customer. As you can see 8 games purchased plus a gift bundle & probably 

a few others.

BTW  I am tempted to make a real phone call ( with a 1957 WE dial phone !) but I am afraid I may

lose my temper & I DONT want to go there.

I have bought all the avadon, avernum, queens wish, a bundle for my son & a few others maybe.

APX a year ago I had to change computers.   I E-mailed  "orders" for new keys. NO response after 3 +

friendly requests over about a 4 week period. I got on with life figuring Spiderweb was on the brink.

Now I would like to play the avernum games agn.  How do I get keys ?  I tried again IIRC on Thurs & no

response. To complicate matters some of this mess involves fly by night 3rd parties like Steam & Humble bundle.

Steam especially sucks & makes no sense.

Bottom line is I want to play the best damn games out there. All purchased & not hacked by my sons & I know

they could.  Please help me out.

BTW I have years ago requested keys & got them within 48 hrs, great service !

I bought the game & went through a convoluted  process. Now I THINK I have the key to open

the full version. But where the hell do you type it in ?  Been to every screen I can find & no joy.

Sorry I am an old goat but never had this problem with other Spiderweb games.

I got this done & I am 63 yrs old ! Keep in mind....

I had   "a few"   beers first.

You WILL get zorched a lot,  just use your priest.

Pushing the mirrors IS fustrating !

There are 2 types of mirrors. They will reflect the beam 90 degrees one way or the other.

I used the beams where you first come in.

IIRC there are 2 mirrors to use there.

I sent the beam BESIDE the mine carts / tracks & it just misses the target. Then you drag one more

& put it beside the target.  Done !

Now I am working on the Golem factory & it MUCH harder. That will take a 12-pack & help from my

squaw.  I guess I am just getting to old for these games.........

Cleaned out serpent cult.

Just had to go back to prisoner & free him.

Jumped down SW hole.

Came out OUTSIDE serpent pit but NOT on the big map.

Walked off into purple area & had black screen.

Game crashed.

Cant get by barriers (at LV 3 dispel ).

Cant find hidden sw even with U.

Read all related posts no joy.

Statues dont shake hands.

Talked to the 2 sisters.

Only thing I may be missing is quests for Khoth

that I dont remember doing. Who gives it?
