  1. Here's the lame response I got from Steam:

    Technical support for this title is handled by a third party support department

  2. It almost looks like files are missing, all that is in folder is, data folder, Avernum application and a Steam file. Already submitted a ticket with Steam and sent a Email to Spiderweb. I have all the Spiderweb games that Steam has and all work but Avernum 4 & 5.

    Also, 6 and Escape from the pit come up with a configuration program, 4 & 5 do not.

    In the meantime if you drop Spiderwewb an email explaining what's happened, and some sort of proof that you did indeed buy the game from Steam, there's every chance you'll get the unlock code for the demo. That way the wait for Steam to do something useful won't be as painful.


    I am having the same problem, your reply wasn't much help.
