Avernum: Escape from the pit doesn't launch anymore :( in Tech Support Posted April 20, 2012 I had the same problem when I tried to run A:EftP on Steam (Mac OSX 10.5.8) today. I deleted Steam in the Applications folder and in USER/library/Application Support, reinstalled it and it worked. The game launches again.
