Hey, correction. I'm an idiot, I had already completed the quest and just needed to talk to Redbeard to get my reward. I was confused because my journal was still telling me to go talk to Duke Gryffyn. Anyway, nevermind.

So, my journal says that for the quest "Return to Castle Vebeaux" that I should talk to Duke Gryffyn. My first dialogue option is "Is there anything else Avadon can do you for you?" and he says something to the effect of "No, bringing peace to our people is tough and will take some time but it will be fine." I just did Shima's quest and let Harua live, I don't know if this has anything to do with it. According to the faq, Monitor Shigaz should be in the room south of the throne room, but he's not there either.

I've tried going back to Avadon and coming back to give it a chance to reset to a different state and even that doesn't work. I've also gone through all dialogue options for Duke Gryfyn and his secretary. Am I missing something obvious?
