Well, the way it was explained to me was that it's pretty much an exact replica of Chrome, it just takes out the bits where Google snoops on you.

Has anyone here had any experience with Iron? Apparently it's Chrome minus Google.
  3. ...Why would you add slithzerikai? Completely different universes.
  4. Or jello. Or ginger ale jello. Ooh! Is that a thing?
  5. I played Exile III, Avernum 2, and Avernum, in that order, and didn't lose any story. If anything, working it backwards was more fun because I would have moments of - "oh! so that's what x happened!"
  6. Has anyone here had any experience with Unhallowed Metropolis?

    Graemlins?

They're useless little buggers that serve to amuse and possibly infuriate.
  8. You can avoid destroying any of the crystals if you get the anti-vahnatai weapon from the Bunker, which disables their attacks.
  9. Of course they do. They even went to court to win the right to lie.
  10. I could actually see it framed in terms of approaching religion - Obeyers would be religious persons, Awakened would be agnostic, Takers would be the militant atheists a la Dawkins. Just an idea.

I really need to know more. Those sorts of wobsites amuse me. www.davidbowieisverydisappointedinyou.com
  12. I'd say religion has the most pros at being cons, yes.
  13. I think you meant rogues; your mistake might bring a bit of a blush to your face, but that's normal.

  15. He also does a tremendous job of showing a proper shift from three dimensions to two.

  17. Ghosts are just posthumous scenery, it seems to me.

  19. I like /wg/, though sometimes I hit up the anime wallpaper board. There's this excellent FMA background that's just the watch, which I like since it doesn't scream anime but it's still a pretty great reference, but it's watermarked and I'm too lazy to remove it. I have downloaded a metric buttload of Pokemon backgrounds though. My current one: I don't envy anyone, I know their lives are terrible
  20. I did enjoy World War Z, though not as much as the Zombie Survival Guide. I've been reading Gay Essentials: Facts for Your Queen Brain, which has this hilarious argument mentioned in it, wherein Sappho was actually just a teacher and she only felt the same affection to her students that Socrates felt towards his.
  21. You can set the game to draw all graphics or to limit them in your options. Press escape to bring up the pause screen, and go to the options menu from there.
  22. Luck, Texas isn't on there. It has a population of 3, and on the way out, it says, "If you're not here, you're out of Luck." (Why, yes, I did read Willie Nelson's book.)
  23. The US is the country to blame for drug violence in Mexico (as well as Central America, South America, and the Caribbean) - creating a situation where illegal drugs are highly profitable will always create drug runners, and that will always cause drug wars. We tried prohibition before, and it didn't work, whose to say it'll work this time? The answer is to create a viable, legal option to he drugs being sold on the black market, but let's face it - there's too much profit in suppression to make that happen any time soon.
  24. If we're thinking of the same ghost, the one in Upper Exile is Click to reveal.. actually Bon-Ihrno, passing his blessing onto you, since he knows what the end of your quest will be.
