Well having read several peeps comments on killing redbeard I am afraid I agree. I had 3 goes at it and after about 45 minutes decided I simply couldnt be arsed.

Having really enjoyed the game till here - and whilst I expected this to be maybe twice as hard as any other fight - its a bit disappointing to find an end that is so tedious and frustrating, and to suddenly find that Jennel who I have found great till now simly couldnt deal him any significant damage. And I would have liked to see what happened if I did kill Redbeard

and my companions are just permanently goneburger ? did I do something wrong way back ?

I helped all my companions with their side quests, however on returning to Avadon after letting Gryfyn go they have all disappeared and the castle is full of guards and shadow walkers - am I supposed to fight this lot solo ?

Im 52 and only just venturing into the world of RPG's...probably spend WAY too much time playing Avadon for the good of the household but hey you gotta chill

am fast approaching the time when I will have to embark on the Escape from Caslte Vebeaux quest and the end of the game - to which I have become rather addicted Any recommendations what to buy next ? I really liked the graphics and story of Avadon. Cheers

anyone tell me what or who triggers the blue ore quest please ? I know where to find it. cheers

is it "safe" to leaave items in "my" room - or will some helfpul avadon worker come and "tidy" them up and they will vanish ?

ok talked to Gryfyn and he says he will notify Avadon bia the pylon if he needs anything and Shigaz isnt there - I guess its not my time for this yet ? I already did the pits quest with Shigaz have I messed up ?

Is there a minimum level I need to be to get past this demon ? I fought the fecking imps for over half an hour and ended up with no vitality and no potions to regen it.

Also do the soldiers who were with Shigaz ever show up to help or did they run off ?

Will it affect me adversely later in the game if I dont kill Angevine ?
