Thanks for the hint. I went through the barracks and hit "g" a couple of times and it turned up. I think Dikiyoba's advice was reversed, as when I compare Black Oak, composite and longbows, the longbow is the weakest of the three and composite and Black Oak are essentially the same. In any case, it was more important for completeness than for it's relative power, so thanks again. I did end up giving it to my sorceress for now.

I've successfully completed Watcher Harrisa's quest for the lost soldiers, and I found a Composite Bow in the barracks. I never found the Black Oak Bow, and looking through the item list it was supposed to be part of the reward from Watcher Harrisa. Where should I look for the Black Oak Bow?

I'm new to Avadon and I've gotten stumped trying to complete the Beast of Khemeria quest. I've mangaged to find Dhorla Woods and then progress to the Beast's Woods, and in the process I've fought the Beast twice, only to have it escape each time. At this point I *think* I need to confront the Beast in it's lair, but for the life of me I cannot find where this might be. I've wandered all over both Dhorla and Beast's Woods, made my way across the river and explored all the trapdoors I could find, but no Beast. Can anyone point me in the right direction or let me know if I've missed something along the way?
