Thanks Nikki! Forcing v-sync on in catalyst control panel did fix my problem. You're my hero.

I'm unable to run Avadon in fullscreen. Works fine in a window, but I get a black screen and crash when I try and run fullscreen at any resolution. I'm running Windows 7 64-bit with a Radeon 5970 and the newest drivers. I'm playing the Steam version.
