I see I see.
That makes a lot of sense.
This is my first game from this company, so I cant compare it to another game of theirs.
It just takes me out of the immersion of the game. I get easily drawn into games by the story, and the writing of this game is very good, it doesnt feel boring to read. So its kind of a bummer if you dont see the character acting as they just announced. Thats all.
Thanks for answering and giving your opinions. ^^ -
But first, I would like to say I enjoy the game. I bought it on steam, my first playthrough will be on torment, and using only ONE character. I like a challenge in these turn based kind of games. =P I really like the old school RPG style, and how the story gets told in these pop ups. Sadly, I think it will only call onto a niche market. Which makes me kind of sad.

However.. I have one question, were the dev on a time limit? Or was it a choice you made to make as little animation as possible in favor for a big game world?
The reason why I ask is because, I become slightly annoyed at the fact that there are so little animations, and most of the things you have to use your imagination for. I see people sleeping while they are standing with just "zzz" as their lines. I see people in the I believe they are called "Stocks" just standing their, while their punishment is to be in the stocks.
Im not that far into the game, I just reached Goldcrag... maybe some people will agree with me. And please dont take it the wrong way, I really like the game. Its money well spend.

A question about the animations.

your right, I meant that this is my first game, I changed it accordingly.
Dont get me wrong, im not saying it has bad graphics. I like the style of the game. Im not at all bothered by it. It just takes me out of immersion of the game when it doesnt have the accompanied animation.
I agree somewhat! Im not sure how far you mean that this game is lacking in the vision department, if your just talking about animations, then nothing more needs to be said.
