Yeah, I realized later that i could go to the mine, but even there I was getting slaughtered without constant cheating.

So, is there one that just lets you buff your characters a bit? Or just raise XP? I know this doesn't have "stats" the same way the Avernum series did. Just the skill tree? As with most Spiderweb games, I keep running into stuff even early on that I just stand no chance against. Chose to head to Tainly (sp?) first, and run into a group of soldiers that I cannot hit, who mostly one-shot my party members. Even with a handful of decent armor / weapon / augments (bronze splint with +health, iron rapier with +str, orb thing for mage, etc.)

Yeah, haven't got the CD's yet, so no manual (that I can find.) And the F1 help menu doesn't work under Windows 7.

This might have already been mentioned, not sure. My request would be for just a lot more character customization - both insofar as look, and in more skills / stats / stuff to adjust / equipment / etc. I have only played Exiles II in the past, and just got the first trilogy. Very much miss this style of RPG and am having a blast, but characters are fairly limited. I would kill to see some type of "make your own spells or abilities" functionality as well. I play HERO and love getting to tinker with the "inner workings" of things; like making your own spells in Oblivion, etc.

Have a character with like a "C" and 2 "+" signs in the status / effects list. But not able to figure out what it means. Any help would be appreciated.
