i have not played the avadon series yet, so ill look into that. but every single hint in the game is pointing to the fact that geneforge in all reality is a prequel so avernum.

I was playing Avernum 4, and the vanhatti refered to his peoples mages as "Shapers". looking back through the game relationships, is it possible that the shapers from geneforge found refugee far underground and ascended into the vanhatti of the Avernum Saga? Considering that the ability to shape one selves was an ability held by the Shapers (albeit, outlawed), this is completely feasible. This could be the Aver-Forge link some were looking for. -edit: Conversation: "I am what you would call a.. a politician. I am not a Shaper. a wizard, i mean." also, would anyone care to discuss the fact that there are down right Gazers in Avernum? and not just some variety of monster like the drakes, these Gazers (and some eye-beast) act exactly like the ones from geneforge, are resistant and spew the same things, control minds of others, etc. These frighteningly intelligent, and seemingly immortal creatures could of easily lived throughout the ages. Also, they use a stick that nullifies the shades so that they don't attack the person wearing it. this is discribed almost identically to the "control rods" used in geneforge 1, and by the mad mystery shaper character in geneforge 4 (or 5, i forget) Most evidence points to the fact that Geneforge is a prequel is Avernum.

So, i was playing as a gaurdian, just happily going through killing everything pretty much. one shotting bosses with an enchanted oozing blade. just fun things. i just learned how to create a vlish, so im pretty early into the game. still the first island, havent found the shadow road. so i start wondering through the okavona sea caves or whatever, and i go to see if i can level up skills, and im level 32 with 60 skill points to spend. last time i checked i was level 10. which was only like 3 areas ago. is there an extreme level up glitch? because in my earlier games i finished the game at level 29. so to level up 22 levels in like, 3 zones without used cheats (which i dont) seems practically impossible. is this a glitch? can i reverse it? (im not a big fan of being to op to have a challenge) and how? please help.

Ill start considering im stuck myself lol btw my keyboared just became screwed up so i cant use half of my puncuation? i allied my self with zhass_uss { imma secretly kill everyone when i get bored } and i cant find easss anywhere and i cant get into the geneforge even though i did all the quest and got the key AND got akkat to tell me to go to the geneforge stupid serval wont let me in so can someone plz help me!!!!! where is easss????????
