Can anyone tell me the exact weight values for how much it takes to lose AP due to ecumberance, and whether its possible to increase the encumberance cap by increasing strength? Thanks

I think I've encountered an annoying bug in A2. I gave one my my characters the "fast on feet" ability, which is supposed to give her extra action points occasionally, but the problem is that it actually seems to take them away! Sometimes she gets 4 ap, but often she only gets 3, which should only happen if she has the "sluggish" ability. She isn't cursed or anything, so I really have no idea why this would be happening. Does anyone know what could be going on here, or if there's any way to fix it? Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, I've recently tried some demos for the the Avernum series while waiting for Skyrim *dodges tomatoes* and Risen 2 to roll around. I'm not an old school gamer, generally, but I was pleasantly surprised by the details of the game world and the written descriptions, so now I'm thinking of actually buying one. Problem is, I don't really know which one(s) to get. There seems to be a fair bit of dissent about which ones the best, and the "Which is your favorite" threads I've read haven't really gone into too much detail about why people prefer one game over the other. So I was kinda hoping you guys could tell me which ones are your favorite and why you like it over the others. Looking forward to hearing your (hopefully forthcoming) opinions!

The way it is now, my weak ass mage is in the front of the party, which means he always gets his ass stomped when battle starts. Can anyone tell me how I can get my badass Slith Polearm guy up to the front row? Decent game by the way. Ugly, but nice.
