  1. Your dog, brought back memories of one of my own, he was not exactly mine, but he used to come to me every morning and evening at a fixed time for food and I really spent some happy moments with him, he used to look almost exactly like yours, unfortunately a mad street dog bit him and he got infected with rabies and had to be put down :( .

But still you have the solace of knowing that they are going to a better place free from pain.

  2. It will age like a fine wine and then we can all become inebriated from its fermented, stale loveliness.

That will be pretty bad for this board though, but I suppose we could do a study on what happens when already insane people become inebriated as well :p .

  3. I just checked it(only thorny woods) for the first time and I think what you are doing is pretty cool, but if you don't mind I will like to see a bit more of your personal touch in the dialogues, quoting them as it is from the game makes them appear sort of artificial.

  4. Of course, Jeff would not leave it lying around, just about anywhere. Will it be deleted? Or will it remain an ancient destination for years to come?

I suspect that it is the second case, It seems that UBB is still much more popular among guests, at the time I posted this, there were like 4 guests in IPB and 111 in UBB.

  5. *COUGH*fortganrick of exile II*COUGH*

I never played Exile so I have no idea what you are implying, are you saying that:-

    1. Fort Emerald was called Fort Ganrick in Exile ll.

    or

2.A fort called Ganrick disappeared in Exile ll.

    or

3.You like uttering "Fort Ganrick of exile ll" when you cough. :p

  6. I think the higher experience from identical monsters is Jeff defining their experience in different zones.

No, I have tried doing different zones first and found that the zone has got nothing to do with that, another thing I have found is that this does not affect special high level monsters, my own theory is that it's his way of balancing the game.

,and yes Trenton it does slow down after a while.

  7. I Highly doubt this, but I will take your word for it.

I don't feel like starting a new game just to check.

No need, I have checked like 4 times or so, in fact I checked this for G4 as well and it actually exists in G4 as well but I don't remember the level and the effect is much less noticeable too, In G5 you jump straight to about 3 times the exp. for say killing a normal Fyora so it's much more easily checked and noticed.

  8. I usually finish in the late twenties to early thirties. If Randomizer made it to level 40, you can expect to finish around there. I'm fairly thorough myself though, so unless you plan on returning to areas to kill every last thing (and you've really no reason to), you should end up in that ballpark.

Humm, it seems pretty stingy in terms of levels, considering that i I always play a shaper with lots of creations I mightn't get to even 25.

  9. The name of the person who gave you the quest shows up, but not where they are. A name isn't all that helpful when people move around a lot.

Well to be fair, nothing apart from a brute force search is helpful in case people have moved and you are playing the game by yourself.

It was also useful for knowing whether or not somebody would make new quests available later, so I'd know whether to go back and revisit them.

Dunno, most such guys made it pretty clear though.

  10. A little bit of topic drift:-

There was this Rajat Gupta verdict coming out , now while I don't know for a fact that he has been a good person, but most people seem to indicate so and I will assume that's true, what I was wondering is whether the past good deeds of a person should be considered and possibly cancel off something evil he did later or is it that these things should be looked in isolation from each other? Personally I'm a bit inclined towards the former but nowhere near sure enough to really trust myself on this issue, I was going to post this sooner but I thought i will wait for the judges verdict and see what they think and honestly to me they sort of appear confused as well, I will appreciate if you guys could come up with arguments concerning this.
