  1. —Alorael, who doesn't want to have to amend the CoC to ban punning. He'll do it, though, if that's what it takes to stop the epidemic. He'll go to any measures to protect these forums from the plague of bad wordplay.

Hey, you go ahead and leave our puns alone, guy.

  2. I think MS meant "beer", and by "beer" xe actually meant "skribbane".

That's a point. Is skribbane bottled in A6? If not, there's a whole group of people who, never having played Exile, won't know that skribbane was ever purified and stuck into browny-orange bottles.

God, I depend so much on the automatic spell check now, but this is a lesson to correct the habit.

and yeah, i never knew that tidbit about skribbane, it's not there in A6, I just thought Aloreal drunk a lot of bear, oops I mean beer.

  3. Shapers can stop creating serviles and other sentient creations, but what do you do with the ones that are already around? Serviles can breed, so they aren't going to just all die of old age and be gone.

Exactly, they made serviles who had absolutely no problem with shaper rule in G4 ,but the problem is about the existing serviles.

  4. Seems rather far fetched to me , different people probably behave differently even when they are making puns, they might even get a general idea and implement it but the accuracy is never going to be high enough to make the capability actually useful, at least not for the foreseeable future.

  5. Some types of data can be compressed more efficiently than others. The relative ratios of text/binary code/graphics/sounds could easily differ significantly between the different engines/games.

I thought that the engines are similar enough, so that while there could be a difference it shouldn't be that huge, but I will take your word on this one as personally I know nothing about compressing apart from that it makes file sizes smaller.
