  1. Thanks for the info, I tend to explore every nook and cranny in these kinds of games so it was making me wonder about those areas.
  2. I checked thoroughly and there are no switches to be found. To be more clear, I'm in the cave where the "lost lizard" is found. There are two sections in the cave I can see that I can't get to, one has a wide chasm and no way to get across, while the other is in a corridor and a pit stops any more progress. I would appreciate it if anyone knows exactly how I can access these areas, if its possible.
  3. I am playing the demo for Avernum 6 and finding it great, more enjoyable than the Avadon demo. I was curious about areas I see in the southern great cave down below the castle food depot, it appears there is more to this cave system but I can't get to it, there are pits and no way to get across. It seems there is another entrance to that area in the cave but not sure where it could be to access it. Can anyone tell me if there is a way to explore more of this cave?
  4. One annoyance I have found is that there is no way to close the inventory screen without clicking that little green arrow in the corner. I see you picked up on that too, when clicking "I" again it should close the inventory, I agree. Since you have to deal with the inventory a lot in this game it does get annoying. It would have been nice if there was a hot key or some additional way to close the inventory screen rather than having to click on that bottom corner.
  5. Thanks for those answers. Yea, I gotta say I'm very impressed with this game. I'm loving the huge dungeon and the combat, this is classic stuff. The graphics are nice too, better than I expected them to be.
  6. I was thinking about buying this game, but had a couple questions. First, if I buy the game and put in the registration code, can I continue my saved games from the demo? Is there anything else I have to download if I buy the game, or does the demo include the whole game already? The reason I ask is because it says there is an option to play with direct X for the graphics, and I don't see that option when I go to the windows menu entry for the game, and it says it should be there in the game instructions. Just in case this info is needed, I'm using Windows Vista.
