  1. Well, it's a little difficult to say exactly what you should do if I can't personally see you, but generally speaking, I'd say you should try to be in combat mode most of the time (and keep yourself from being encumbered, naturally), especially if you can't see if someone can spot you in the next turn or not, try to hug the wall as much as you can and while still using AP efficiently so you can hopefully get yourself square into a corner where they can't see you, and save periodically so you don't lose too much progress. Also, if you can move before the drakons and serviles while in combat mode (I should also mention that it doesn't actually matter if the Unbound see you) try to enter combat mode while they're walking, because they should keep walking away from you when their turn rolls around, thus giving you an extra turn to move around. And if you want the treasure, make sure to get a very high mechanics skill and dozens of living tools, at 14-15 mechanics it still takes 6 or 7 each, and even if you specialize in mental magic I don't think you can open them short of having 18 or so in mental magic, mechanics, and a sizable spellcraft stat. Of course, you can also join Ghaldring's faction and get them for free after doing some quests for him, then you could switch sides and betray him later if you prefer another faction. Then again, having War Tralls relatively early in the game is great for a Shaper, and I think the canister for them is in the first locked room nearest to the start.
  2. Well, I don't think I've ever seen those before and I'm using the Steam version of the game, so would that mean that for some weird reason Steam doesn't have the most up-to-date version?
  3. This actually applies to all of the Spiderweb games, but I'd really like to have the option to have a WASD control scheme to move your characters(Well, arrow keys probably, since WASD might intrude on some other hotkeys), since I'm that kind of guy who almost never has one hand on the mouse and one on the keyboard, either because of habit or my set-up makes it actually uncomfortable or unwieldy. Of course, I would still have to use the mouse to select characters and chests, but I'd manage. I'd think it would fit in the Geneforge series especially well, since not having a hard and fast grid to move on makes path-finding during combat a little irritating if the computer was given a crowded, winding path to go through. It should also completely eradicate the frustration of a misclick sending a character into a suicidal fit and leaping crotch-first ineffectually into a horde of enemies.
  4. I'd really like to see gender options for each of the classes. It's a little weird when you see a guardian or warrior, especially in 3-5 with its roided out guardians, and the NPC is called a woman. Heck, why not have the ability to customize your PC in more ways than just its color pallet? This would be less likely, but I would like to see a second sub-type for creates after getting three levels in it, especially for fyoras, since its very common for me to get four or five levels in it. If not that, then maybe better bonuses for levels beyond three, maybe have the creation get two bonus levels instead of one for having a fourth point, or getting an extra point in each stat, or something crazy like that. And if we're talking improbable things, why not have a few extra super-dungeons, or just more post game content in general? I just want my Ur-Drakons to feel useful, that's all.
