  1. You can't buy it from Spidweb.com on kindle?
  2. Hmm.. if chances are Redbeard -is- the keeper in the sequel.. then what might happen to Sevilin, Shima, Jenell and Nathalie? I loved them so!
  3. So I've just killed Redbeard after a long fight, and that got me wondering.. Is the fight so hard because he is meant to be invincible, and he will reappear as the Keeper in the next Avadon, or what? And it said that many new hands joined at the end, is that when Avadon 2 starts, or many years after? Just my 2 cents
  4. That may be true, but it wasn't as unique as the other Avernum games. In my opinion it was about being almost at the center of the earth in an alien land, spelunking, finding creatures, meeting the Vahnatai... etc. I also wish Jeff would skip A2 and remake Avernum 3 for PC, but thats just me XD

  6. Just a wild guess.. But could you make fan-made zones for Geneforge 5, like mods?
  7. Cool! Will it be in the eyes of the Fyora, or a shaper?
  8. Co-op would be awesome! Not entirely sure how the NPC conversations would go.
  9. But its better when you've just found an enchanted blade and you don't know what it does, and when your fighting the evil villain of so and so, it does something you didn't expect!
  10. When I saw this thread, I immediately thought of aliens and Will Smith for some reason..

  12. Why the Sevilin hate? He isn't that bad.. he is correct about a lot of things, and actively supports a written law system
  13. Redbeard's beard is more epic then Chuck Norris. On a more serious note, no, the Redbeard is difficult, but easy once you get the hang of it, just try again and you'll find something that works, like Lilith said.

  15. Very good story! The conversations seem a bit similar, as the main character isn't emoting a lot, just talking, but other then that I really like it.

  17. Happy Mother's Day everyone
  18. I mean with the ability to make Creations, there is a lot in the world of the Shapers that is left undiscovered..

You would play some lowly apprentice on Sucia Island, as Danette neared completion of her finest creation. I could see that being an interesting game for Jeff to make, once he's been away from vlish for a few years. Still a long shot, though. There could always be more plot added
  20. I'm using mIRC, how do I get in the spidweb chatroom?

  22. Will there ever be a new Geneforge-like game? It could include some changes like: 1. Your creations would react to where you are, like your Drayk, Drakon and Gazers cause a stir in Shaper areas, and Guards attack them, etc. (They ARE barred..) 2. Revisiting older areas. What do you guys think?
  23. I'd have to say the most powerful shapers would be the Unbound with their full potential. Otherwise, I'd say Lifecrafters, as they are usually stronger then just Shapers, in G3 it is shown that the Rebels have a better system in place for experimentation with shaping. Like the device that plunged into the scale to show all the 'scrolls' which are Genes, that they directly attempt to change to shape more effectively.

It's from D&D, just google "Beholder". It's actually one of the more powerful and independent monsters there, too, so he didn't even need to change much, aside from the name. But how do they sleep? I think their eyes would be quite itchy..
