Anyone ever read Robert Newcomb's "The Chronicles of Blood and Stone"? Great books...but his publisher canceled his contrace in the last trilogy...it pisses me off...

Well consider my apologies here, as I ranted on the other post. It just appears that you have not read them and understood them. Maybe mympoints need to be typed out more, but on this Xoom, it is tedious.

I forgot that in any argument with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. You obviously think the rich make a huge, overwhelming difference in the taxes. Let me put it this way...if Buffet and Gates dumped ALL their money to the government for the debt...it would not make a differnce. Look at the debt or annual taxes collected, then see their income. It makes no large percent. The tax comes from lower to middle-upper class because not every person has five billion dollars!! Only a very small percentage do! Irland may have been hit had, but guess what? It is still cheaper to build it there than here! Once again, you didn't understand that topic. And you are a true IDIOT if you believe the government is here to provie you with employment! I refuse to even explain that. Go back to grade school, take your history courses again and read the Constitution and the Federalist Papers. And last of all, you did NOT understand the last part. Jefferson was saying how the people should not let the government create these socialistic laws that "benefit" people using taxpayer money! The government is there to protect us and to deal with trade. Now, in another quote it descries how anything the government gives us from the taxpayers money can be accomplishd BY THE PEOPLE with no help, should they desire. What you want is charity, in which case, remove yourself from this topic, walk to the church, and give them some money. If you say the founding fathers are completely wrong with what they said, please remove yourself from that baseent and look at the news and research it yourself and retake english courses to comprehend it. I cannot understand how you can be so clueless about what you read right in front of you then make a comment that isn't discussed or is completely different from what I typed. With the idea about Chuck Norris and the rest, you are taking it too far. I used the norris idea because he's the closest we've got to a cowboy character. The point of this is not to form'a dictator, but to have a likeable public figure that can say what'must be said and to do things others wouldn't before in a way. The law would not be above them, as the People are supposed to make the laws technically, as they should be represented by good senators. You guys are not reading and understaning what is being said. I did not'say that chuck should be president, I used him as an example for characteristics. Also, the mentality of restraint needs to be said, this isn't a dictatorship in the making, it is meant to be a true leader with non-politician characteristics in a way. The man who can rally people by showing them he is worth following. The breaking of the teleprompter screen Is necessary, because that is not the politician talking, it is his script writer. Here in PA, we SAY we study those documents, but we don't study them. I had to read'the Constitution once and it was just enough time to skim it. We never looked at the Federalist Papers. That's what I get for living in one of the #1 liberal states. Hell, our school is trying to tell us that the right to bear'arms is for a militia still! In the Fed Papers, it clearly states that it is to protect the citizens and allow for an arms rebellion, which they thought would happen every twenty years. It's one thing to teach history badly, it's another to blatantly make the youth ignorant and unaware of the true purpose and intelligence behind those documents!

There are too many agencies, departments and laws to even name that leech money and are completely unneeded. the comment that the rich should pay all these deficits is completely ignorant. The rich cannot possibly pay off the debt or really make a sizable dent in it! Raising taxes just encourages them to take their entire industry outside of the US. If you don't think that will happen, look at China! Do you know the taxes that are imposed on a business? Obviously you don't and are inclined to believe that big businesses OWE you a job. Here's an example. Intel was making one of its plants in another country, I believe in Ireland. The people there at the press meeting for this said that they'owed the US people jobs. The CEO casually explained that it would cost them ONE BILLION dollars more to build a plant in the US than in Ireland. Also, the govenment's TRUE intended role was to be a "necessary evil" by the Founding Fathers and was only intended to have power over ninternational trade and foreign defense. And so long as "riders" can be attached to a bill that makes this document many thousand pages, it cannot possibly, even remotely be about true healthcare. Why? Because why does it take several thousand pages to explain it? And THEN...why do the senators get a SEPERATE HEALTHCARE and are exempt from the very bill they are trying to pass?

When will people learn that each party is as corrupt, moronic and deceiving as the other. It's time for an honest american to form a third party to confront this BS. We need a "cowboy" sort of person who is balsy, like able, able to get angry but not overly so, and be intelligent and to be able to think on their feet. Someone who can, during the political debate, walk up and put a fist through each frackin teleprompter's screen and say "excuse me Mr. Obama (or other politician), I want to hear what YOUR ideas about the war, not that moron's behind the TV. He needs to be well known enough that the audience would support him, and so he won't be dragged off the stage. Without a joke, Chuck Norris filled most of those requirements...we need another like him however that wants to put the government in its place.

Reading Toll the Hounds by Steven Erikson. Great book, but in the series there's a craptpn of stuff to remember, each book is within a couple hundred pages to a thousand. Any American being a Patriot and reading the Constitution, Federalist Papers and such? Where's our forum's Constitutional scholars =P

Sad that the Republicans caved to twenty billion less than desired. How could we cut that money? Simple: education systems need to be cleaned the fack up, useless people fired, Social Security abolished (VERY necessary, but will never happen because the elderly outnumber the youth), more useless people fired (dep. of transporation, IRS, dep. of energy, etc.), redo thetax code from ten thousand pages to one sentence "TWENTY PERCENT SALES TAX" so no a-hole can get out of taxes and everyone has to put into it...need I add that the pensions have to be cut? Teachers whine that they don't get paid enough, but after 12 years educating, they get a FULL pension? (Senators get one too after what? Two or three terms? For $300k for life too?...wtf) Honestly, the solution IS there, but, you know what? It'll require America to man the **** up and grow a pair and to realize that it WILL NOT be easy, but it must be done! With S.S., the reason it must be cut is that a minority cannot support a majority. An upside down pyramid does not support itself. We, the country's youth, are outnumbered 3:1...we cannot keep Roosevelt's laws going. Bit.of ranting...but I am SO tired of watching these imbeciles screwing the country up. The sad thing is that people have to do these things first for them to have to put labels like those on a good. It's called NATURAL SELECTION, let it run its course, don't protect these morons.

Hopefully, we have the upcomming release for the ipad with Avadon, which leaves me hopeful for the possible release for the Android based devices. But seriously...would be nice if the Androids COULD somehow use .exe files. That would be nice What, with the new Windows tablet (it got released in Canada before the US, while the Xoom for the US and not Canada, where I am right now, lol) which can play this game off the bat since it runs Windows 7... Well, plain and simple, some Android rpgs like this at all for the Android would be nice! Now hiring skilled programmers =D

Well I bought my new Motorola Xoom four days ago and love it, at the same time, I also happen to love the'games made by spiderweb here. I would expect the popularity of the new android tablets to skyrocket very soon, especially as the new user-made apps emerge. Would it be likely to see conversions of these games for the Android devices? I would guess that it would be easier to do so with an I pad base for it possibly, considering they are both tablets (with some converting file types). If so, I will buy them the instant they came out.
