I loved using "showmeall" in the Avernum series and would like to do the same for Geneforge. Although Shift + D brings up a prompt, non of the commands are effective. I played Geneforge 1 without it and now find Geneforge 2 is the same. I've checked caps lock. I'm operating under Windows 7. Has anyone else had the same problems?

Thanks for trying to help. I've cleared the whole area except for the pylons, and I got that message from the control room in the SE. It's just laborious moving around with them active and it's annoying not to have found the solution.

I'm in the scree caves accessed from Fort Saffron. Walkthroughs say "use the machine to deactivate the pylons' shields" but I just get "The power flow is uninterrupted". How do I deactivate them?

Many thanks. I found the two dogs, but no Millard. Cast Detect Life several times around the river to no avail. Finally he just strode into the scene. Phew!!

I can't find Millard in Myldres. I earlier visited the mines - has this messed it up?
