Yes, that version works for me. I've only played a tiny bit of it, but have not encountered any real problems.

The only minor nitpick is that keyboard entry seems hardcoded to US Qwerty -- I am using a different layout (dvorak) and the input field for the name of a save game doesn't take that into account.

I was considering the purchase of Avadon, and just tried to run the demo. I get the "Avadon was unable to load any of the graphics." message.

 

I understand from the rest of the message that the problem is that I am using a case-sensitive file-system.

 

To try and work around this issue I created a new case-insensitive disk image with disk utility (stored as "case-insensitive.dmg" in my user dir) and copied Avadon from the downloaded .dmg onto the newly created case-insensitive volume. I also tried running Avadon directly from the downloaded AvadonDemo.dmg. None of this has helped, I always get the same message.

 

So, my questions:

 

1) Are there any plans to fix this issue?

2) Is there any known work-around for those on case-sensitive file systems?
