6. For some stupid reason, we had fireworks yesterday instead of today. It was still pretty awesome though. They really went all out this year. I am not exaggerating when I say that the grand finale literally shook the ground.
7. Prayers to your mother, Jerakeen. I have no idea what religion you are, but know that I will be rooting for your mother in every way.
8. I missed it... This whole thing went down the drain didn't it? Ill still be getting on. You can find me at 8.00 pm EST tomorrow and I'll try to be on at that time every day.
9. Alright, fine, I would preferably be dropped in Avernum 5
10. Geneforge. I'd have the least chance of dying there. You all go into battle if you want. Screw that.
11. Yes! It's a pony thread! Because those have gone so well here! Also, there have been way too little threads lately, and I'm not here much. So, yay! Filled with Spoilers, so, beyond this point, read at your own risk Thoughts? I like it. At first, I was skeptical when I heard about this, much like everyone else. I kind of trusted the producers after three seasons enough to know how awesome Twilight being princessenated was going to be. But humans? That kind of threw me off. However, I was willing to give them a chance. And boy, did I not regret it. First of all, Let's jump into the story line. Ponies in the beginning. So you can just ease into it. It just doesn't blast, HEY, HUMANS, HANDS! HOLY CRAP! right at the beginning. It has the same animation, in case anyone was worrying that the pony was going to be crappy. The Synopsis? Twilight Sparkle has to head into a different world after her crown was stolen and was almost replaced by a cheap knock off. I mean seriously. That doesn't even look anything like Twilight's Element of harmony. Where did she get that? It looked like it was carved out of wood. And so there she is, standing before a portal, ready to go in. The twist? Her friends can't go with her! Oh my gosh! There's no way we could have known that before hand Apparently it would break the universe or something if too many people go through, so she strikes it alone. Except for Spike who couldn't bear for her to bear it alone. This is only the what, First 20 minutes? And then there are the outfits. My opinion? I like them. They aren't too revealing ((You perverts)), They aren't too bland. They go with each characters personality. The only thing that bugged me about their design, is their legs. Seriously, they're like spiders. The music... Holy. Freaking. Crap. The music was amazing, and fabulous. "Help Twilight Win the Crown" rivals Winter Wrap up in Catchyness. See also "Strange New World", "This is our Big Night", and "Time to Come Together" I don't know what I was expecting, but this is on par with Hasbro's usual awesome music. Maybe even a bit better. I'm just going to drop this right here. And then there are the background ponies. We have DJ-PON3 Secondary Characters the CMC And a variety of others. Hell, Derpy even showed up a few times! And then the ending... Wow. That uh... I pretty much had my jaw open the whole time this scene was playing. Hey there, Demon Sunset Shimmer. You have the power to throw fireballs? That's pretty cool. Please don't eat my soul? And then Twilight SParkle leaves her new friends forever to go back to Equestria. Nah, I'm sure she returns to hang out every month. I was also kind of annoyed at how Rainbow Dash suddenly knew how to fly... Seriously, she had legs her whole life. And in the mortal words of Spike the Dragon Dog, "That's what's weird about all this? A talking dog?" He has a point actually. That's pretty much it. Post thoughts, discussions, or whatever. I gave my review.
12. Me and Earles are getting pretty lonely playing against eachother every night, Ya'll need to start playing again.
13. Y'all need to stop talking about getting on and actually do it, It gets boring sitting around in the lobby for 10 hours at a time Though I suppose it would make sense, most of you have LIVES. I get to sit around till 6 in the morning playing Wesnoth games with the Computers.
14. Just download the first link, the 10.0. something one, not the bottom one. By the way, I'm in the lobby if anyone wants a game.
15. Lots of fun games last night. I forgot how fun this was. I'll be in the lobby if anyone wants to play.
16. Also, I'm in the lobby now if anyone wants to play a game.
17. The space issue? I figured that out months ago. I just forgot to restore the game.
18. I'm up for a game. Once I finish re-installing it of course.
19. You can run away and regroup if you wanted to... Most dungeons let you leave and come back later, and 99% of enemies get bored and go back to what they were guarding or hunting if you get far enough away. I also love the open-world theme. I find nothing more fun than hunting actually. If I have a nice bow, and 30 or more steel arrows, I enjoy tracking fleeing Deer, Elk, and the yet even more difficult to kill because of their size and speed, Hares. They drop skins and antlers that I collect as trophies, so that's cool too. Also, Dragons. 'Nuff said.
20. I had recently bought the game about three days ago and amassed about 25 hours of game play. I am a level 15 Imperial and have even already married the woman who's personality I had affection for, the Dark Elf of the College of Winterhold, Brelyna Maryon. I have done lots of quests and have gone lots of places. All of this has given me time to think. That this game is one of the most epic that I have ever played in the Role Playing Games genre. And how similar it is to Spiderweb Software games, particularly the Exile/Avernum saga. Say like Argornians and Khajit. Bandits and magic wielders. Giant cities who's guards will smite you if you step one toe out of line. It would be awesome, though unlikely, if Jeff made an open world RPG like Skyrim. I would pay any amount of money under $1,000 for it. Would this or would this not be a great idea? Post your thoughts below.
