I actually played Geneforge 1 back when it came out but because of college+work didn't have time to finish the shareware version, fast forward to April of this year I played it again and got to finish it! I then played Avernum 4 and got to the end of the demo. So I decided since they were so good I purchased GF1-5 and AV4-6! I finished the Geneforge series which was so incredible. Just finished AV5 a few days ago and am currently going through 6. So looking forward to Avadon as well.

I havent played Avernum 1-3 cause of the aging. When they are released I'll be sure to buy them day one.

I enjoyed the first one but due to playing the Geneforge 4 with 5 following after it and then Avernum 4-6 I can't dedicate time to playing the 2nd one till later on. I fiddled with the demo a bit but it's hard to settle on a character to play.

I played Geneforge back in the days when the 2nd one was released but didnt play dude to lack of real life interfering. Now that I am older and have plenty of free time I gave it a whirl again. I finished the shareware version and then played AV4. I was so impressed with their gameplay and story etc. that I plunked down the cash to get Genforge 1-5, AV4-6 and since I got it a bit cheaper, Nethergate: Resurecction. I am really looking forward to Jeffs next game when it comes out. On the part of Blizzard, I am also looking forward to Diablo 3 when it comes out, I loved the hell outta two but its so dated now.
