Well the pref seem to be there and intact (even after deleting them and doing another clean install), so I'll have a look at the access privs.

Hey all! I recently reinstalled the Avernum series on my new(ish) Intel iMac with Snow Leopard, and while all the games seem to run just fine, for some reason, preference changes in Avernum 2 (and only that one) don't take hold. It's not really a huge issue, but it's really quite irritating having to reset them every time I open the game.

I've tried deleting the game and doing a fresh reinstall from the CD, and when that didn't work I tried a fresh install from a downloaded installer, which also didn't work. I can't seem to find a preference file for it, but I can't find one for A1 and A3 either and their preferences seem to work just fine.

Anyways, if anyone could lend a hand, it would be much appreciated!
