I had a heck of a time killing Talis-Eye in Lerman's Pass - especially with all his (er) help. Then, I remembered baddies with magic attacks tend to run away from you to attack you with their magic. So, I piled me and my creations into the lower right corner (where he starts) and attacked. Each time on his turn he'd run farther away to the upper left - toward the door. Eventually, I had him pushed out into the room before you encounter him and beat him senseless without him having the aid of his help. Then, I just strolled back into his room and killed off his help one at a time at my leisure. Fun, huh?!
LOL! I tend to overthink things, I know. But my way is more creative.
