I was pulling my hair out on NORMAL difficulty because of the swarms until I started pumping my mental magic. Also, for a servile that doesn't plan on doing serious creation-work, there's a girdle you can craft that gives you 4 healing craft, and then upgrades up to 6 healing craft and 2 battle and fire shaping. I don't remember what it takes to make it, but the recipe is up somewhere. Theres a crafting guide, i'll have a look. That Girdle sounds great It would even allow easier shaping of creations without investing too many skill points. And yeah, I read about a few people having trouble with swarms of monsters with Serviles. I'll invest heavily in mental magic Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the nice quick replies I'll see if theres anything I can craft which will give me Healing Craft Bonuses. And add a few points onto it anyway. And yeah I plan to roll with a Mental Magic/Melee combat Servile Hopefully all will go well.
  3. Oh wait, boost my Healing Craft through items maybe? =D Gah, shouldn't have double posted
  4. Shortly going to begin a new game with a Servile, and i have a few questions I ALWAYS seem to play with a shaper/LifeCrafter, create huge army, hide, let huge army kill stuff etc. Being a shaper/Lifecrafter allows investing in healing craft, cheaply so i can heal myself. However, what would i do with a servile? I beleive shaping skills are either impossible/Very expensive when playing as a Servile. I'm able to make a lot of money selling loot, and obviously this means i can buy healing items etc. But do shops restock? I just image relying on items i'd soon find myself with none left I play on Torment. I hope the answer isn't to ration healing items Sorry if the answer is just very obvious and i just don't know

This old school style of pylon is rare. It is the Wingbolt & Gazer's shining moment. However, Drakons and other fire/ice creations will have *way* more trouble with it than a War Trall will. (It resists physical at 60%, while the Trall resists its attacks at 40%. Drakons & company resist its attacks at 30% or lower and do 10% or 0% regular damage to it!) Wat Tralls are not "just reliable" -- there are enemies that do not resist physical, but do resist all sorts of magical attacks. War Tralls shine against Gazers and Eyebeasts! Whereas Gazers actually have trouble with enemy War Tralls, since they have no armor whatsoever. Drakons on the other hand are not in the same league. They are good, but have no real advantages over Wingbolts. Basically any enemy that the Drakon has good resistance against (i.e. a fire attack user) also has resistance to the Drakon's attack. I would say: War tralls and gazers/wingbolts will be quite effective most of the time, super effective on rare occasions and ineffective on rare occasions. Drakons will often be quite effective, and will sometimes be ineffective. War trolls are like.. 2-hit-KO with Gazers =) They have 0 magical resistance. Their a double-edged sword.
