You should create a poll to find out. -

I'm confused. Which one? The Canada option? That seems to be the only odd one out... -
[You know, the posts in here are fairly short and frequent. Have you considered changing the form of this to an AIM RP, setting up a time, and then just using this thread for updates and character sheets and stuff? It's probably be way easier on you to be all in one place, rather than ping-ponging single sentences across the boards.]

Definitely uncovering the secret of the Shapers on Sucia in G1. Probably the best twist in a SW game.

Who the hell gets a $120,000/year pension? Are you planning to work at Goldman or run a hedge fund or something? -

Just releasing "Nethergate: Resurrection" on steam would be welcome too (maybe Valve would reject it as too primitive, though, who knows, but the demo works fine for me on Win 7 64 bit).
Nethergate is critically acclaimed by quite a few of the forum members here, but according to Jeff it sold terribly, so it's unlikely that we'll get Nethergate Re-Resurrection for the same reason we won't get a Blades of Geneforge: Jeff is too busy making money hand over fist now to stop for a year to remake a game that will flop and kill his sales. -

I have a distinct feeling that militarizing your yard with pythons would be vastly more effective than militarizing your yard with Python. -

Really, the only justification for using Notepad is because it's on every computer produced over the past half century. Something like n++ or SciTE should really be used if you're just editing scrips on your computer. -
I just finished up The Big Short and Boomerang by Michael Lewis, and then my second-favorite living economist's END THIS DEPRESSION N[pointy things]W!.
Now I'm about halfway on Sagan's classic The Demon-Haunted World, and I have Rise and Fall of the Third Reich all cued up. I've been doing a lot more reading recently, which I suppose is good.

If there's nothing interesting for you to talk about here, perhaps you should find a forum more suited to things you like to talk about instead of trying to change the subjects discussed at this one.
Just my two cents. -

The reveal in Dr. McNinja today was somewhat shocking.
I don't know if anyone else here reads Evan Dahm's stuff (Rice Boy and Order of Tales), but his latest comic is really not up to snuff. It seems more "Look at how good of an artist I am! Here's twenty updates with no dialog!" now rather than telling the whole "epic, yet whimsical yarn" thing he had going the first two comics. -

In fact, I only ever remembered to check OOTS by seeing responses in that thread. I should probably go and read some now, but considering I've about two years to catch up on, I might wait until a less ungodly hour.
It's probably only updated like two, three dozen times in the past years. It's super slow now.
I think his disease is starting to catch up with him. Unfortunate. -

Twenty bucks says within the next ten responses to the thread somebody complains about the games being too easy for them to enjoy.

When I was bored in lectures, I would pick a small integer and do trial division to see if 2^n-1 was a Mersenne prime. The biggest one I found was 8191, which sounds impressive until you realize that Euler did it for 2147483647, and some dude in the 50's did it for (2^148+1)/17, which is like fifty digits long. -

But... but... I swore a sacred oath to protect the Internet from poorly-written fanfiction! How can I simply stand by and let this happen when it is in my power to stop what comes next?
