It said giant Lizard creatures. They guy had already said Fyoras, and Drayks are always descibed as reptiles. Unless it said retptile and not Lizard.

Hodge didn't participate but Drakons did.

How do I bypass the pylons in Helft and other locations?[G5]
Hypnotic replied to Zenith's topic in Geneforge Series
To disarm those thing, there are spore boxes. This dosn't effect all pylons but enough to let you pass by safly. This is the case in areas with them. Some will ineveitabl stay on. Now, there is one set in helft that has pylons that do less damage. That is specifaclly to let the PC get at the body. The rest of he Pylons do more damage. -

She wears Shaper robes because of the geneforge series limited Graphics. By that logic, Greta is in fact a Shaper and her assistant Jared in Northforge is also a Shaper. Also she Click to reveal.. dosn't side with the Shapers. She says she will help them beat the Drakons. Under the condition that the Shapers don't research any new creations. The she does a rebel thing and helps the rebels bring about a split terrestia with Terrestia in the West and Sucia in the east. Hardly traits of a Shaper.

I would love to see someone do that. Well done.

It depends really. Since both sentances make sence, even though one is impossible game-wise. I think its a accidental clever play on words. Well you cleared it up so we know now anyway.

I think he ment he gave the eyebeats 2 intellegence. I managed to get 4 In G5. Highest I have ever got.

Has anyone ever had seven Eyebeasts in their party? I would immagine they would destroy everything then.

You will hear no objections from me. I only wish we saw more of her. T he school of Shapers was only three Shaper tachers and Master hodge was on her side. Not sure what happened to the rest of the apprenatces. Also I think the game mentions some giant lizard creatures that I would assume ment Drakons. Still, that feat was the beggining of the rebbelion.

Litalia dosn't belong to the Shapers anymore although Astoria does, which is why Astoria is indeed a Shaper and litalia isn't. IF she wasn't a councillor. She is a councillor because she is a good leader (She says so). She has come to the conclusion the Indedpedant serviles are acceptable. She does not bbelive in self shaping or anyone Shaping but Shapers. She is certainly more of a Shaper than a rebel.

Jeff said he is creating a brand new series. What it is, we don't know. -
Runed Amethyst vs. Oozing Blade vs. Viper's Touch[G5]
Hypnotic replied to Zummi's topic in Geneforge Series
I tried it, making a minor into major does infact lose any Enchantment it has. -
Agents do not need and will never need Shaping skills. You can forget Shaping. I would suggest a combo of Parray and battle magic. I'm actually surprised you're in awakend land with only 4 Battle magic. Focus on magic, you're an agent. Also for your guardian. If you ever run out of things to put your points into (Effectivly) than put them into Dex. That means you get hit less and when you do get hit you parry it or relfect it.

In real life mabey, however this is the geneforge universe, where to get a promotion, you need to worship the Shapers, otherwise you stay a common soldeir. Therefor the leaders must be in awe of the Shapers or pretend to be. The people you say are pulled from the country side, how does conscription make you like the Shapers better.

You Forgot Taygen, Litalia, and Alwan. Rawals ending is very short so save before you join him, see it, than do something different. My Personal favorite is Alwan, he comes with a trainer that improves Shaping. The ending is good too, and you have access to all creations.

Prefered spells from Geneforge 5:Overthrow[G5]
Hypnotic replied to Avarakadavra's topic in Geneforge Series
The only Spell that dosn't dircelty relate to Combat in some way is "Unlock". That spell saves you a few Living tools here and there, otherwise yes, Comabt spells are the most used. On a side note; best spell name is definatly "Kill". Simple, to the point and it does what the name suggests. -
Prefered spells from Geneforge 5:Overthrow[G5]
Hypnotic replied to Avarakadavra's topic in Geneforge Series
I like essence orbs. Not becauses its the best spell but because the targeting on it is different to other spells. Its fun to get it just right, also it can do a fair amount of damage. After that it boils down to effiecny. Small targets get blasted by kill and Icespray. Depending on the games the bosses will get hit by Wrack, Essence Shackles, Essence lances, Searer. You end up seeing plently of nice little graphics and a Boss cower before repitive damage. All in all I value the vaierty of spells over a single spell. -

Both sides have human warriors, Trakovites would effectily remove them from both sides of the war. They already were insignificant by the time his campagin started. Sorry double post. Wanted to comment on all of it.

Even if Rawal loses some of his influence, he pretty much has the coastal councilors under his thumb, so why would they go back on him? If they Councillors need them to win the war, of course they will want them. Also the game never says he controls the Coastal councillors. All it says is that it will be easy to manipulate them when the time comes. Rawal dosn't actually control any of the Councillors, he just knows alot about all of them so they do not directly oppose him. And also even if he does lose, the repository is full of rouges, so he could just say that it is to dangerous to try to get anything from there, and never get around to try to clear them out. That is a possibitlty yes. Although I don't see how incompetence increase influence. The reason why he isn't returning their things is for that reason alone. Its not like he can't clear it out. Its just a few of Patchworks that won't get replaced. The pass to Nodye is defended, the Shredbugs won't go there. The Pass to the Whitespires is somewhat defended, easily to reinforce so the Shredbugs won't go there. Astoria won't be able to kill all of them. So some will go east into rebel land and some will have to get past the gazer in Lermans. They will all remian in Mera so Alwan dosn't need to worrie about them. Concillor movement may be restriced but its only Astoria and Rawal, and they only meet once a year. If they Travel tgether, I'm sure they'll be fine. Alwans forces wouldn't be to spread out. The other forts wouldn't fall, as they are properly defended and with Alwans bonus they are unlikly to fall. The rebels you meet are mainly serviles. Rouges don't count. The Rebels that arn't serviles got through the line before Alwan defended it. Exactly how many Rebels are in Shaper lands? Trakovites don't count, they are fighting both Shapers and Rebels.

Agents don't need Meele weapons. You will be busy blasting away with a variety of spells and controling the minds of the rest. Parry is good. Agents only want a weapon for the Bonuses it will give.
