The reason I am looking to pass these on is because sometime in the not too distant future, I am not going to be able to keep that website open. My Parkinson's Disease is progressing, and I am have reached another threshold.

This is game mapping. If you look at Exile III Averrnum 5 & 6 You will see that for all the mapping tha I have cone, the commentary is missing. I would wish to have avernum 5 6 completed in the manner i hahve done with A4, and Exile. I am also looking to find an heir to these maps. What would be required of the apprentice would simply be to completete the work I have started. Upon completeing the work, I will pass custody of them to the te new caretakers

I have about 3- 4 mapping operations that have remained stubbornly incomplete for far too long. Between my job, Parkinson's Disease, and mentoring on LinkedIn, I simply do not have the time. I would like to find someone to complete the job, and potentially take ownership of them. Apply by privatei message.

I started to once, and ran into problems with the aranea caves, primarily with how fields were handled, webs in particular. Another problem that cropped up was a feature of lighting , both in the Spiral Crypt and the Tower of the Magi near the demons lair.

Unfortunately, this site has a low pun tolerance. Now before everyone jumps on for not pointing out that in many cases the puns were more than a bit trite (over used), labored ( more effort put into them than they were worth) inane ( just not funny) and obnoxious (another word for annoying (I know this was not needed, but everything else had a parenthetical)) . I know, I should be able to keep track of this myself, but when you've changed out every PC you work on within a single year, and I mean Every one of 6 PC's, And then the hassle of half my credit accounts changing ( Thanks Target hackers ) Plus a house fire, plus .... Just in case anyone noticed, my website was unavailable for the past week while I got the renewal thing straightened out. I have been reading this discussion on age difference between men and women with some amusement. You see, I am probably as far outside the standard deviation of the means as one can get. The age difference between me and my wife is 15 years. Strike one. She is more senior than I am. Strike two. I have been married once, still and that was almost 30 years ago. Strike three. Kelandon, One thing I have learned, and which I teach to those who have sought my advise as a mentor, is that one should never leave the truth behind, no matter how ugly it may be. It must be picked up, accepted for what it is, chalk it up to experience as a lesson learned, and put in your pack to be remembered lest one should find oneself in a situation where that lesson applies. I accept your advice, and this shall be the last I say of this topic, unless specifically asked. I just wanted to make it absolutely clear where I stand and why.

Dikiyoba, I made a similar comment just before the whole thing blew up. I stayed out of it there after because I knew that if I had joined in at that time it would escalate. Apparently, my stepping out did not alter that course.

I have also found a situation like this in Avernum 6 with regard to dealing with some skribbane dealers. If you meet them first, you're bound to end up having to kill them, and then be unable to sell a package to them to complete a later quest.

Slarty, Again I say, Well met. Dikiyoba, This is just the sort of misunderstanding that I got crossways with before, and for which I was reprimanded, and therefore self-exiled. As I stated before, I had never intended to hurt anyone's feeling, but hurt they were. I am an old dog, and this gender of "Other" does not come to me naturally. I apologized, and do so again, for any slip that I may make. But due to the existence of this thread ( Thank You Slarty ) I begin to doubt that that is going to be enough.
