  1. When ever i feel a need to cheat using things like coins or skill points i just a little(literally) program called cheat 'o matic. Try this... Probably work great for anyone needing a hacked character to map areas with.
  2. I see that this thread was bumped... but... Sometimes on my first play through i don't want to know anything. I just want to experience the game the way it was meant to be. As an adventure. So if you make mistakes, you live with them.
  3. Thanks... I guess I wasn't reading the options close enough. Also thanks for the quick response.
  4. So after doing the first of Astoria quests I had assumed(wrongly i suppose) that she would give me her next quest. Was I wrong in my assumption? Or am i missing a vital piece of dialog somewhere??
  5. This should work for you. Here you go
  6. You can use a program called dxwin. I found it when i was trying to run Geneforge 1 in a window. Lost the link so you will have to google it. The only problem i find with it is problems with the mouse cursor. Then again i haven't(sp?) really fooled around with much.
  7. Sorry for the double post... but A Song of Ice and Fire still has me wondering how in the world its gonna end....
  8. I totally agree... By the why the last Wheel of time book is being split into 3 edit: the last Modesitt novel was worse than most Hundreds of pages of battles and preparations, the last... maybe 10 pages actually had a story worth reading...imho
  9. Theirs only one thing i want to say about the story... If you could create some spaces at the appropriate spaces it would make it easier(at least for me to read) Or line breaks would be nice at least...
  10. Like Goodbye World, i also read Mage Guard of Hamor. I have read every book in the recluce saga, and I must say reading Modesitts books in that series is starting to get a little irritating. Every book seems(at least to me) to be about a young man who cant help but feel that knowledge should be handed to him. Except The Fall of Angels which was about a slightly older man who felt he was unappreciated. Each novel, or two if he splits the story, always involves said young man finally being happy with his consort. Now I'm just starting to feel like I'm playing a Final Fantasy game every time i read one of those books.(ie: man loves girl, needs to learn a lot to save what he is fighting for, and you cant forget the "surprising" twist ending) But i have been reading his books since i was 10 so maybe that is just shows how your taste in reading material changes as you age.
  11. Have to agree with you their Dintiradan, finished that a while ago and now eagerly awaiting the next book. (Now i remember why i never buy books until i can buy all the books of a series at once.)
  12. Look at it more like, say... constructive criticism.
  13. It seems like somebody got their hands on one of those dang-fangled character editors you hear so much about
