I think that if the scarabs provide blessings that they have to be balanced so they're probably not too powerful and the grayed out scarab is probably representing what you can equip as you probably can't equip 4 at a time until later in game or you do something special.

that was done in geneforge 5 and I tried it but you didn't use drakon fire and if you used healing magic the game crashed

I bet they're kinda like crystals in geneforge that either cast spells or summon something.

i think the army march in G3 is better than the one in G5 because the army is actually large and you don't have to advance everything at once and another plus is that you are taking back half an island so it like being an actual general in war.

i also find the first 2 islands repetitive but the others are pretty good in my opinion and that's why I'm playing it again now.

going back to the topic i equiped a baton and i turned into a golem. it took me so long to see because i don't normally use batons.

i go to the rebels level when entire islands start switch to the rebels control in a matter of days thought i never go so far as to use canisters

the fun in that one is away with the cold along with andras' shoulder

he probably wouldn't shape a new one. I'm pretty sure his arm went with him so he would shape it back on.
