  2. Kidding aside ( I didn't really think the US should nuke Libya), I thought that an attack of a mostly gay hating country with tribal traditions of tying up women's vaginas and of 12 year old girl circumcision that was supposed to become more liberal after its dictator was routed, (how the hell do 12 men assault an armed embassy and succeed?) would rile up these boards a little more; and all I find you talking about is some obscure reference to a game maker's name sake being mauled by a bear. Really?

  4. How about the US consulate murdered in Libiya? I say Nuke them, but then again I'm not a US citizen (nor resident)
  5. What's special about a Kansas Interstate highway?
  6. The Borg were originally intended to be insectoids, but budgetary constraints turned them into cyborgs
  7. I' still waiting for a vhanatai playable character, but with A ended and no cigar, I don't think there's any hope of seeing one in the remakes.
  8. He could hold an art contest, where the winners get a copy of some of the games
  9. Well, given the fact that Trenton's post count is on par with sylae's who has registered 2 years before him and way over acteon's who registered 5 years before him, it seems Trenton is actively vying for entering the top posters list Watch out nikki or you'll be overrun before you know it And nightwatcher is breathing down both your necks Euwww
  10. was it cheaper than the retail version or did you just not know any different?
  11. Just finished rereading "the hobbit" and also found in the library a dual book of robert asprin and finished reading "myth directions", hilarious, absolutely hilarious. Now I start the second story "hit and myth". I just love how he starts each chapter with a short (sometimes fake) funny quote such as "That's funny, I never have any trouble with service when I'm shopping" -K. Kong. And here is also another curious excerpt from "the hobbit" (it comes right before : Originally Posted By: J.R.R.T. Faerie? Is there another reference to West-Earth with that name? Light Elves? 12. Yeah I'm never touching Baldur's gate again, it's just too sticky

  14. I think that if it's like in Baldur's gate 2 where you have to pick one (and only that one will remain) or they both ditch you (meaning you can't prevent them from falling in love with you and still have them as a party member), then it's pretty bad. Then it's not optional, it's forced and it truly diminished my enjoyment of the game.
  15. In that case what you should do is go to the general forum, look up the puns thread, find a poster with an avatar of a rabbit (or a hare) with a bow and pm him directly (by left clicking his name and selecting "Send a PM") about this errata
  16. Or as a professor of mine used to say: "Positive + Negative = Eeeeeeenergy"
  17. On second thought, because of the extreme heat near the caldera where the microbes are supposed to be and the low Oxygen concentration, this is more likely: 2CH4 + 3O2 + Heat ==> BOOM + 2CO + 4H2O Making it very dangerous to live (and breath) near the calderas
  18. None, absolutely no trouble. (you'll see why later on)
  19. Yeah CH4 + 2O2 + Heat ==> BOOM + CO2 + 2H2O

  21. A point for thought is Chitrachs, these existed in the underworld before there were magic mushrooms, which means either oxygen is not produced magically or bugs in Exile do not breath oxygen. (I'm also assuming the other creatures either have their own magic (sliths, vahnati, gremlins, dragons) or were sent down by the empire (giants, nephils, rats, maybe bats and lizards).
  22. I just saw a movie that claimed that the only way someone can bite himself (or herself) and draw blood is if s/he's insane. What do you think Myth or Truth? (The second point was, that because love is a state of insanity people who are in love can do the above to themselves)

The misconception is that people think that we have germs specifically in the stomach, not the gut. Or did I misunderstand you and by "this one true" you meant that the misconception exists? Only the intestine has bacteria, these help humans stay healthy (and produce vit k) not break down foods, the stomach of animals that eat grass (such as cows and sheep) have bacteria in their stomachs to break down the cellulose (and there are probably other examples I am not aware of). 24. A southpark misconception: Aspergers can be mitigated by constant and heavy alcohol drinking.
