The lost hero slith teaches you a chant... when do you ever use this??

I'm having a similar issue with the portals. I'm not lucking into the right combo of portals and I'm getting REALLY tired of killing golemns for no XP ad infinitum. What is the correct portal sequence?

I'm trying to find dispel barrier. It isn't available to me from Fort Dranlon... is there a quest that needs to be done first or something??

I emptied the Gremlin cave before I got the quest to destroy the orb of the empire... then I went back and can't find it. Is it gone forever, or am I missing it? edit:: Nevermind, found it.

Actually this DOES work on steam and on the Mac version. You are just looking in the wrong place. The game files are hidden in the users library folder, which is hidden. so look in /Users/<your username>/Library/Applications You won't be able to navigate there using the Finder, you have to use the GO command (shift Command G). Once you ar there you will see the Avadon folder and everything works as originally described. I've tested it and have it working on Mac right now purchased through steam.

So, I was told to talk to Asp in Cotra in order to rob the lady running the Abyss.. but he is nowhere to be found. Is this a bug?
