  1. I WOULD join, as a balanced, "Rights for all" sort of faction that isn't so much collected in one place as having like-minded people among all factions, but... well I'm not sure where this whole thing goes or how it works.

  2. Well here's a question then... what would Avernum/Geneforge shirts say/show on them?

    I got one idea already.

Front: Giant Intelligent Friendly Talking Spiders

Back: Many monsters are more dangerous. Few mosters are more annoying.

Yeah I know this is a geneforge forum, but still...

EDIT: OK, and for the topic, a Geneforge shirt idea:

    I make lots of friends

Which is why I save before major conversations, in case I do something irreversable that I didn't want.
  4. Really? I thought they were a variety of Chitrach since they look like chitrachs, move and attack like chitrachs, sound like chitrachs, usually appear with chitrachs, and are basically exactly the same as chitrachs except for the ability to neutralize any magic in an area around them, making a normally mildly annoying Chitrach battle into one that makes you want to stab something.

  5. Al;right, here's a poll for some fun... which area did you find the most annoying area in the entire game?

In my case, it was Shath's Wastes in G2. I'm a guardian, and I pride myself on getting through the game without losing a single creation. Imagine my annoyance when the two weaker creations I had would be turned, or killed by turned creations, causing me to have to restart again and again and again. Add in AI that has me yell "GET BACK HERE!" and... well, I found myself frustrated.

    On Easy.

I don't want to know what you used instead of your hands if you wrote while going. smile

  7. Actually number one is fixed in 4 and 5....... sort of....

But then, you must remember that many RPGs DO have the limitation on carrying capacity. Even the father Dungeons and Dragons. It's just people tend to treat backpacks as being somehow able to carry three full sets of armor and four weapons while still being under the unmoving encumberance level. Although I will admit, being able to carry my hoard off 25 Living Tools and god-only-knows how many potions that I save for when I never use them without having to worry about the weight they make IS really handy.

  8. I have a theory, just from hearing...

Perhaps, when you have only three characters and nobody in slot one, the person in slot two is thus the first person in your lineup. If you try to add a person to the first slot, they would normally appear in that first area on screen... however, since party member two is standing in the square in the lineup, the first spot is filled, it doesn't see it as the secon location, and thus tries to put the new character into the same location as another and thus bugs out.

Did that make any sense to anyone other than me? Ahehe...

Well considering my Fyoras actually were the same level as me when I made them and anything else I would make would end up several levels below me... yes. I never let anything die. EVER.

I had surprisingly less reloads than you might expect. And my fyoras were Lister and Sokkru. And I loved them all day. And I'll shut up now.
  10. OK, call me crazy, but I just have to know...

How the heck do you pronounce Sucia Isle? Is it Soo-See-Ah? Soo-Kee-Ah? Soo-Shee-Ah? Some other pronunciation I don't know? I'm just really curious.
