Its definitely a classic RPG, less story then the Exile Series but very easy going. Shame that the sequel never made it Homeland: Song of Void. Doesn't look like there was any news other then anticipated in 2003 on the Dragonlore sight.

I've just remembered an old game spiderweb used to distribute for Dragonlore. Homeland: The Stone of Night, loved that game.

Anyhow i saw an old post stating it was now freely distributed & as my CD has vanished into the dust anyone know a link where it can be downloaded? If there is one, the link of the old archive post was a 404 internet monster victim.

Thanks guys. I understand why the search was ornkless now, i have my moments. lol plenty of running from Unbound tho and i discovered i can actually defeat one given enough time, poison, acid and lightning aura then just heal everyone.

Sorceress by far, can solo it or use creations with buffs to get through the tricky parts. Prefer doing it solo tho as the xp gain is bigger by 1-4 xp , not much but over the course of 10 kills it can pay off.

I'm figuring Vamparic Touch is the same thing as the Lifedrain enhancement? I haven't had chance to try it yet

Does anyone know where to find the smart Ornk? I've been around the swamp twice now, except for inside Gorash-Kel, and no signs, tracks or secret paths that i can find. I hope its not in there as i am unprepared to go in there.

Ok, i've reinstalled the game and reinstalled the font, yet it still becomes invisible and i'm not sure why. For a time it was visible in the font folder but then it just vanished, not sure if i had opened blades before or after this but the result was the same.

I'm verry confused

That makes sense although, that would be Maidword.TTF? I've got the file in my blades directory but seems to be empty other then the title at the top reading Maidword and a few numbers ,12,24,36,48,60, etc. Have i lost the rest of the chars that belong to it?

Reinstalling doesn't seem to help me much, was working fine for the better part of the day. I'll give it another shot tho.

Edit: I've downloaded the maidfont again from the net which has the font in the file, i was missing the rest of the chars although blades seems to be unable to recognise it still. Anyideas on what to do to fix this. Sorry for being a pain.

thnx guys. mucho appreciated. I've got my first town done now, wasn't a difficult job, consists of 3 specials and some cave walls. Good walls mind you, the standard variety.

I've just found my reg copy of blades of exile an when i rewrote over the demo version i had installed the buttons of the title screen lost their names, i can still load a party, start a new quest and create a new party, etc...

Anyone know how to set this right?

Edit: Also i can't view the conversation options or dialog of any npcs.

I'm old here, well thats to say i've not been here for maybe seven or more years. I'm starting to script a scenario and i was wondering if anyone could tell me if there is a party lvl cap for this game?
