My characters are pretty much the same as well as your guys Lenox-Warrior type, mainly trained for the melee fighting and does the most damage, sword and shield type Malena-Archer type, mainly range and a little polearm Zenra-Priest type, also makes potions and is the healer of the group Jarinex-Mage type, pretty much the damage dealer after he gives haste to Lenox and Malena

Personally, I love both the Avernum and Geneforge series, but if you are interested in the story-line and such you might want to start with the first Geneforge. Like Yelbis said, you don't have to play the first one to understand everything in the story. Avernum is also one of my favorites. Play the demo for both games and see what you want to start with first.

I usually save a lot as well, just in case I make a big mistake, but I do sometimes try to deal with my mistakes if I make any.

I actually like some of the names that are the defaults on Geneforge. I used the Andras name before, but I usually don't name my pets because i usually don't always keep them long enough to care. I probably should be though

Personally, if they ever did make a sixth one (which I know the fifth one is the last one in the series) I would still want it the way its always been.

Or give away Geneforge 5 when it comes out for free?
