anyone know how to get the servile in East camp alpha to talk so you can complete Federa's quest?

Game hints please! Im so stuck and I know its obvious but still i need help. I am Stuck at Kratoa-Kel and lermans pass. I cant get through either to continue the game. The only tasks I am are are these: Canister Tome, Papers for Kaz, Aranov's Herbs, Shaper papers, Reinert the Trakovite, The Traitor Toroth. I cant figure out how to get into the rest of the map to finish the game! HELP!

nevermind i found it i just missed a box in the corner that it was in.

the sholai mage named Gavrila stole my taker amulet, and I have killed all of the sholai to the NW of the crossroads level to get it back but i still am missing it... did i miss something? thanks for the help if anyone has any

for some reason in the orgional first geneforge... merchants that i was able to sell items to i cannot sell anything to now... is it just my memory? I swear the merchant in Vakirri i was able to sell wares to before... and if not that than at least one of the three in Ellrahs keep was able to buy items... whats up? does anyone have any clue what i mean or is my version of geneforge somehow F'd up now? thanks a ton!
