Similar experiences here, although thahds have gone rogue a bit more often than that, if I recall correctly.Quote:Originally written by CPeters:

(3) Improve your Gymnastics, Defense and Dexterity. I remember that at least my first character barely got hit by melee attacks at all during the latter part of the game. Use him or her as a shield for the rest of the party.

Are you using the 64-bit version of Windows XP?

There's nothing wrong with your choice.
Good education and reputation aren't really worth the XP hit, IMHO.

Yes, and there's a suprise the last time you storm the Empire lines.

I'm experimenting a bit with Linux right now... Will Spiderweb's games run on Wine (a Windows emulatior for Linux)?
I could try it myself, of course, but I could save myself the trouble if someone else has already tried.

A party consisting of only one character.

Reinstall DirectX, or install a newer version of it.

You can't get their spells by buying the fake rings, and if you only want to loot their temple, you can use the fight/end combat exploit instead.

1. Quit other apps running in the background.
2. Switch off the sound...

Hehe, I suspect I will need a new RPG fix before GF2 and BoA come out, so I'll probably buy Nethergate as well.

I've really only played the demo a bit, but for some reason, I downloaded the latest version, and was slightly disappointed by the fact that you can no longer start with spells above level 6 without cheating. Hero of Old, Heartshock and Break Barrier are no longer available when you create a new party...

This bug is in Avernum 3 as well...

Rate Avernum 4.

Too early to tell. It's been a while since I played either Geneforge or Avernum, so the "Avernumforge" mixture didn't bother me much.
