What happened to the Shaper PC from G3?
Dark Neptune replied to MagusofStars's topic in Geneforge Series
If the G3 PC Shaper was Shaper Monarch in G4, then it may be possible Jeff may have Shaper Monarch living through the ending of G4 and to G5. (Before Monarch dies, you are given the option to let him go or kill him, although I am not sure how the Shapers will react of your action of releasing him.) Oddly, does anyone notices that when Litalia took away a key to where Monarch kept his most powerful creations, Monarch himself could not create more of them? (His strongest creations during the fight were Battle Alphas, and his "Pet Warped Creator". -

Truffles? And also, I believe Randomizer is lying about his previous post's G5 Easter Egg. No offense though. -

Rotghroths look like large zombies who wanna strip your body apart and eat you like you ate your KFC Chicken. Rotdhizons look like even larger zombies who wanna eat you in a crunch but before they do that, they burn your body with acid. I think we better stick to the original topic rather than talking about Vampires, or Garlic. I wonder whether Jeff will throw in an Easter Egg in G5. -

Some weapons like the Thristing Knife in G4 allow you to do some Vampric abilities, so do they suck? Somewhat, till Jeff decides to let us find a weapon that can suck at least 25% of the damage we did in that round in every turn. Then, we just gonna hate Garlics and love Vampires. Lol. -

So, is truth in Randomizer's words? I don't know, so I would think about it. I just want to see more images of G5 and the walkthrough of it. And also, this storyline better be epic enough to last me nearly a year, as G4's storyline lasted me for only 2 months. -

I didn't know Rotghroths became weaker. I don't understand. Why do some people love to save so much essence for spells? In my G4 account where I am level 39, I have about 500+ essence but I only keep 70-80 of them for spells. That's less than 1/5 of the total amount. (Note: I only play on Normal difficulty, so don't blame me if I said something wrong for those playing on Tricky or/and Torment difficulties.) One last question, did Jeff added more creations to your arsenal or is it the same old 15 species from G4? -

1000+ per turn= Dont even think about it. 1000+ per a single attack = Imagine that Unbound are little kittens while you tune the difficulty settings from Torment to Easy.... Randomizer, who else tested the G5 Creations? -

I think some people who enjoy Geneforge prefers spells rather than creations to kill those A.I. dummies. The 4 things that make the Geneforge series a win: *Creations *Spells *Gameplay *Storyline How can one not use all 4 of them? 1000+ damage per turn? That, to me looks more like a totally-devestating Unbound rogue mutant's fiery. Doubt any Shaper from the Shaper Council can do more than 500+ damage per turn. I wonder who else here who did the beta testing actually tested the creations? -

This is great news. Too bad, Jeff prefers Macintosh, so Windows users have to suffer at least 2-3 months before Geneforge 5: Overthrow's release. Randomizer, how about the second tier creations? Did Jeff replace those "Create, fight gloriously, and after a while, disinteragate and collapse" like Shock Tralls with better, but balanced, designs? -

Ok, now I am starting a G4 game on Tricky difficulty to see how it goes for me. -
ripfengor: Under Southern Grosch. That's where Khyryk is. Beware of that Warped Creator though. And honestly, you may want to seriously consider increasing your Lifecrafter's Endurance, becaus eduring the Fens of Aziraph, my first time of playing, I got least 110 health as a Lifecrafter, and could only create a Kyshakk and a Drayk.

Maybe Jeff will change his mind about making Geneforge 6 if the response to G5 is very well received, better than G4. He will only know the results if we order the full version from him on the Internet, rather than purchasing it from the stupid "RealOne" Arcade. -

Oh yes, did I mention that the Shocktrooper and Infiltrator's face animations in G4 really looked horrible? Their faces look like female imposters, Lol, honestly. I hope in G5 Jeff does something about that. -

If you do, make me the FIRST ONE to watch it ok? But I think Jeff may change the Kyshakk's accuracy in G5. I remember in G1, G2 and G3 many people complain about the Plated Clawbug's and Thahd Shade's accuracy. Well, I must say the Plated Clawbug, if leveled up in experience, surpresses Battle Alphas and Battle Betas in G4. And Thuryl, don't get me wrong, but I have not completed G4 on Torment or Tricky diffculties. -

Last part........Jeff should have asked at least a couple of users to add in what we think should be in an area or so in G5, rather than making the plot himself only. -

Thuryl, I somehow feel like you haven't tested Kyshakks before. As Slarty said, each creation has its own base attacks. So what Vilsh and Wingbolt can do poisonous melee attacks? No big deal, honestly. Kyshakks do strong melee attacks because all Fire creations can. I keep all my Shaping skills about the same. And I never bother to increase Strength or Endurance for Kyshakks, Drakons, Rotghroths, Gazers and War Tralls. They're already powerful on their own. -

The Drayks struck a deal with Sholai for......what? Isn't that something false in G5 and true in G1? Randomizer: I know the Geneforge Saga stroyline. Don't fool me. And thanks, because I see you're already giving out more than enough G5 info. -
You mean the Halo game? Yeah, I kinda agree with you.

When Wingbolts run out of energy, they're force to do melee attacks, which are weak(Albeit poisionous). When Kyshakks run out of energy, they're force to do melee attacks, which are stronger than Wingbolts, and if they sent lightning attack to an opponent who hasn't died, the lightning damage on the opponent continues and is somewhat helpful if you don't wanna waste Kyshakks' energy on Opponents that are low in health and the continous lightning damage can take them down. -

Those moderate Drakons are probably not younger generation ones, but maybe older, more wise ones. I think Randomizer forgotten to mention a few Drayks and Cryodrayks as well. -
The idea a bit too Imaginative, but I prefer Genforge 5 for now. Geneforge 6 seems odd to think of now.

But what about the "5 factions" Jeff stated? He said "Many major chracters" will be back from G1, G2, G3 and G4 for a "Final Showdown" in G5. Doubt Jeff wants many major characters to be killed in G4 from the looks of the statement. Currently, the characters in G4 that were from either G1, G2 and/or G3 are: Alwan Greta Akkari Blaze Litalia Darnor Amena Blade Shaper Danell I think that's all I know. But from what I know, Amena Blade(Servile from Derenton Freehold), is the longest surviving character, having originated from Kazg in Sucia Island, to Zhass-Uss in the Western Terrestia mountains, to the Ashen Isles, and to Derenton in Northeastern Terrestia. -
Vilsh don't look like Giant Squids. (Or maybe its just their tentacles.). Even if there's a Giant Vilsh in G5, it will probably be the same size as other normal Vilshes but the player's description will say, "You encounter a pack of Vilsh. As you walk closer, you draw your blade to kill those rogues. One of them, however, catches your eye. One of the Vilsh is more larger than any other Vilsh you ever seen. You may, need to be careful when trying to kill it."

RC2112: Great idea. But they don't explode upon death. Only Burning Kyshakks do. Haven't tried it yet, but I think Burning Kyshakks could be fun to use in the last battle in the Inner Shaping Halls, either Shaper or Rebel. Personally, Burning Kyshakks are by far the best "Kamikaze Cannon Fodders" in a great fight. Unfortunately, before unleashing its true potential upon death, I died.(Forgotten to heal myself, busy laughing at the corpses of Rebel creations like the Drakons at the last area) -
Compared to G1, G2 and G3, Geneforge 4 has a little less "Above maps'(As in, not Underground or Upstairs maps). You have made it more noticible. Thanks.
