Thanks Randomizer! That code worked. After I went and retalked to Pirro, I was then able to get the General to give me the next missions. Hmmm, I hope the golem I killed wasn't necessary for any reason... Anyway thanks for saving my game! NOW ONWARD TO ADVENTURE!!!

Does anyone have a possible solution to this or do I have to restart at the beginning?

I do have the satchel of crystals. As for the golem(the one near the giant controlled goblins)... well... Taz's group felt the need to kill something and he was in the way...

I seem to have a problem with one of the quests in Avernum 5. The quest is the Pylon lesson. I talked to the general and got the quest + the crystal. I then activated the stone portal and teleported to the magic portal nexis thing. I talked to the gatekeeper and killed his shades. (and talked to the sergent whatshername) I then teleported back to the general and talked to him. asked for orders and was told AGAIN to find out about the pylons! What did I not do to finish this quest? I am stuck and need help. I do have a registered version by the way.
