  1. No, you were right, it's just that most humans get it wrong. Lack of cultural sensitivity, you know.
  2. You're right, that's really annoying. It should be an option that can be turned off.
  3. Nepharim exist to be tougher than Nephilim and easier than Sliths. And no, not that I can recall, but I could be wrong.

I read that as "spider ate me". If a spider was eating me, I would probably not post here as my final act. Probably.
  5. I get that you don't like puzzles -- hey, some people do, some don't, it's a matter of taste (for those who don't there's always Google). But what do you mean when you say it doesn't make sense? How does it make less sense than killing mythical monsters with a magic mace? Or whatever.
  6. A day is a semi-arbitrary measurement as well, since it depends on the rotation of the earth, which is subject to change. Not enough change that a human would notice, but enough to mess up your units. So basically you'd have to pick one day for your system to be based on. Arbitrarily. Not saying it's worse than the system we have now, but I don't think it's better enough to be worth bothering with.
  7. Has the rate of game production dropped? Or has forum activity shifted to sites like Steam and GOG? ETA: Some of it is undoubtedly due to the decline of the Blades games.
  8. The link in my post above still works.
  9. There are other ways to abuse it too... not sure about A4, but in A5 you can exploit it to keep some artifacts you would otherwise lose, and in A:EFTP you can temporarily sacrifice a character to get a very nice weapon far earlier than you'd be able to fight the demons that spawn when you take it.
  10. I tried to make a scenario but I couldn't stop writing dialogue.
  11. Because Canadians apologize for everything, get it? Oops, sorry.
  12. There were definitely nephar shamans in the underground fortress. I remember because they summoned such annoyingly overpowered pets.
  13. I just recently tried to watch "Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and I couldn't help wishing Peter Jackson had made the Narnia films. I mean yeah there probably would have been bloat, but the result could hardly have been worse. Of course I say that not having watched any part of "The Hobbit" yet.
  14. Cave Lore, Arcane Lore, and Tool Use are all cumulative skills, meaning you can spread them around the party and get the benefit of the total of everyone's skill level.
  15. So Canadian visitors can expect to be routinely assaulted in Washington? Noted.
  16. The remix is cool enough that Jeff is raiding it for ideas for Crystal Souls. That said, it's probably best to play the original version of AEFTP first, then try the remix. And it has a few bugs of its own, which Slarty never got around to finishing off.
  17. Nonsense. Collecting shiny objects like a magpie is half the fun. I do get a little weirded out by the odd places you find shackle and whips, though.
  18. If you mean a spell tome, all characters learn the spell, but only those with sufficient casting skill will be able to cast it. Food is not strictly necessary in AEFTP; it's just like a very minor healing item for the character using it.
  19. It is under construction, but I have a lot of other things on the go at the moment, so it's going to be a while yet.
  20. More than likely, but don't expect him to share it.
  21. No, just repeat the whole command on a separate line, including the semicolon. reward_give(150); reward_give(152); etc.
